    My understanding is the monks he was raised by are patterned after Buddhist monks. In the Avatar State I believe they showed a female airbender with hair, so I'm guessing it's gender specific.     He's bald because he's an airbending monk, and monks often shave their heads. (and if he didn't shave his head, his tattoo arrow, which symbolizes that he's a master would probably not show)

    The Fire Nation began their offensive with Sozen's comet, which boosted their power.?? However, the Fire Nation has great war machines and offensive powers, once the temple was hit, the airbenders could only hold out for so long against flaming rock strikes and an endless flood of enemy infantry.

    Well the show is a mix of the Asian cultures. Or at least the popular Asian countries.

    I have another question: Is Aang the jealous type? Like when Katara liked that guy, Jet? was he jealous? Is he the jealous type?

    well...maybe I exagerated. But any time Katara gives her attention to someone else/dosen't give Aang attention, he gets jealous.

    I'm trying to recall Aang being jealous. It didn't seem he was jealous of Haru or Jet. He did seem annoyed that she wouldn't pay attention to his antics in The Warriors of Kyoshi. He did seem a little jealous of Teo in The Northern Air Temple, but I thought it was more about??Teo's gliding skills than Katara.

    The one time it he seemed to take jealousy a bit too far was when it involved someone Katara loved rather than had a crush on - her father. When it seemed she (and Sokka) might leave him to see their father he acted in jealousy. This may have been a jealousy about the connection between family members that Aang may have grown up not really experiencing fully.

    Just my opinion though.

    I agree.?? The incident in Bato was a bit of jealousy of their family connections, but it was also??mixed with fear-- fear that Katara and Sokka would leave him.?? Remember, Aang was not there when they??told Bato they??had to take Aang to the NP first.??

    Hey, if each of the nations (fire, air, water, and earth) were a modern country such as china, japan, korea, etc. what would each one fit into? cuz it seems the creators mixed them all up. like i noticed the earth nation is a combination of japan and korea. while the fire nation is like china.... but their history and geography is more like japan.

    I really don't know, but if that was so wouldn't people be able to master more than one element already, so I say no, but it could just be something the creaters missed.

    Question: If people learn all the bending arts from different stuff (Air Bison, Water Moon, Earth that one animal) wouldn't anyone be able to learn all the bending arts, since everyone came from one begaining and they learn it through out the ages?

    No, it would be either black or blond cause of dominant traits. . . .and the bending is mostly spiritual not genetic.
