Are there other villages on the southern continent.

Plus the two continents that the water tribes are located on have water on all four sides of them so they are not the poles.

You would think there are other villages...but right now, know one really knows. And the water tribes are the poles. Think about it, Antarctica has water all around it and it's the southern pole!

It's just the way the map is made...don't look too much into it...you might hurt yourself!

Sorry, I wasn't trying into insult you, I was trying to be funny...it's why I put a smiley face up....anyway, water tribes might not be totally on the poles, but really close so that they are considered on the poles. I don't know, I never really thought about it. Anyway, I'm sorry again, and hope we can be on better terms!

This isn't a full answer to your question, I just wanted to say this: Bending ice isn't a secondary power. Ice is water. So is steam. The nations aren't divided into solid benders, vapor benders and liquid benders: They bend earth, which happens to be solid, air, which happens to be a mixture of gases, and water - which unlike the previous two substances, changes it's state within the range of temperature normaly encountered in the natural world. Wow that was an awkward sentence, but I hope I get my point across. **** Some people have bought the 'cinemanga' of Avatar and report that it lists several special powers of bender - methinks Earthbenders can 'magnetise' themselves somehow and climb shear cliffs, and water benders can bend the water inside a person's blood veins and control their movements.

yeh i get that but that still doesnt prove right for the fire nation. zuko's sister can make fire and lightning...what is up with the lightning?? i know its a starter for fire but it is also considered a secendary power of bending.. because the fire tribe can make and muniplate fire (sorry bad speller) but with lightning they only can make it but they are only a source of exiting.. they cannot control it or muniplate it.

my other question is that if there will be a secondary bending for air and earth??

Aang is a master of airbending. So much so, that he invented the "airscooter". If their is a secondary??bending for air, aang would have??done it by now.??

(clapping from nowere I amerge from the shadows) Bravo Sly but we Fire benders get a tank or some other thing well anyway that idea with the scooter was funny but we can always have the modern metal scooter for the Fire Nation.

I have another question, but I'm afraid it's off topic. I dunno. There's this banner of Avatar Last Airbender, and it has Aang, Katara, Zuko, and Toph together because they each represent the elements, on the side it said air, water, fire, earth. Do you guys know where I can find it?

If that is off topic, I have a valid one: When did the story take place? I heard Aang has til the end of summer to learn all elements, so how long has it been?
