| i was watching the waterbending scroll again and noticed something in the scroll itself...while Katara is looking at the whole thing laid out on a tree stump one of the lines of the moves shows a character performing a kick...up till now i had though waterbending was all in the arms...i don't know how ppl get screenshots but if someone could help me out i'd be appreciated...it was just before she tries the water whip the first time and its the second row second character |

| The second one is obviouly the water whip and the third one looks like a basic push and pull thing like all water bending moves. |

yes that's what i was talking about...look in the 2nd??row...there's a guy doing a kick...i new i wasn't trippin when i saw that...which leads me to the next question...if kicks can be incorporated into waterbending why haven't we seen that yet?
The more I look at it, the more I think the bender was merely changing his stance. The arm motions alone look as if they could account for the behavior of the stream. I believe the move was demonstrated in the episode The Waterbending Master by Master Pakku et al. at the celebration welcoming the Avatar and the debut of Princess Yue. Eman5805 wrote: ... I have a question about the waterbenders' healing abilities.?? In "The Deserter," Jeong Jeong tells Katara that healing is an ability with which some waterbending masters are blessed.?? Then, once they reach the Northern Water Tribe, Katara finds that healing is taught to all the female benders (and only healing, for that matter).?? Is this an inconsistency in the show, or??does Jeong Jeong just not know too much about waterbending?
