    ok theory:

    if you watched the beach episode of avatar (its really old) you can tell that azula thought that her mom loved zuko more than her. in the boiling rock ending when mai said "i love zuko more than i fear you" she got angery cuz mai chose zuko over her like her mom kinda did, so this probably triggered her into go completly nuts over tryen to kill zuko in the finale, and that also explains why she hates him so much cuz every one chose him over her...sad.

    "creepy old ladys" laughed at that part...it makes alot of since though if you look at her point of view and step into her shoes cuz now its like shes becoming the evil zuko from season one.
