I think the best way to retaliate against Nick is to go all Azula on them and make sure they never rise from their 'shame and humiliation' by achieving skyrocketing DVD sales on May 6th for a show that Nick hasn't aired in five months.

I mean when a reporter interviews Nick about this grand DVD sales achievement but then questions why this same show hasn't aired in several months, what exactly can they say?

    *Cue deer-in-the-headlight look*

    Nick exec: "Uhhhh."

enjoy Lisa(wonder if she has a single sister or cousin???)

Hehehe. I'm the eldest of a whole gagle of sisters from a big Catholic family. All married with kids. Sorry.

But my husband is really annoying me about going to the SDCC, so much so I might go all Azula on him soon, so I will get back to you on that Wise. LOL

I don't care about Nick in the end.

All I care about is Avatar and Mike and Bryan.

If blowing the DVD sales out of the water May 6th does nothing to impact Nick, so be it.

We should do this for ourselves. Shaming Nick would be a perk.

Avatar is ending. I want it to end finally on MY terms, on OUR terms, with a HUGE bang.

I don't want to see it end on Nick's terms where this incredible piece of artwork is hidden underneath the front stairs as if it's some kind of half-wolf-child that Nickelodeon is ashamed to have sired in the first place.

I'm not buying this DVD to prove anything to Nick. I'm doing it to prove something to me, to my fellow fans and to Mike and Bryan.

We ARE a powerful force to be reckoned with. We only lack the faith in ourselves and each other to use it wisely and to Avatar's ultimate advantage.

Your posts so tempt me to spend my $15 on the DVD and not on this out-of-print cheap video game I want!

Sadly, I don't think record sales would shame Nick into anything but smiling widely while having a deer-in-the headlight-look on the rest of their face. If anything it may make them more likely to release the rest of the unshown episodes directly to video, without showing them on tv first. Btw, I am not saying don't buy the video, I am just stating with Nick you never know for sure how they will respond to anything other than throwing more Sponge Bob at it.

The parrots stay busy in 'The Parrots Lounge' while waiting for more Avatar to be shown anywhere.

I don't think that matters. I'm pretty sure they were going to release them regardless and live with what happens good or bad. Besides if they didn't air them they would have to deal with a backlash of angry avatar fans.

I agree with you, thefireman43, though fear of dealing with a backlash of angry Avatar fans hasn't kept Nick from doing whatever Nick has planned to do with Avatar up to this point. Thus I won't be surprised by anything Nick does with regards to Avatar.

The parrots go back and rewatch all of seasons 1&2 on DVD and the part of season 3 they have on tape again for the umpteenth time.

I wonder why some people like to have multiple accounts

If you are referring to me, I have only the one account here. Though there are plenty on this site that do have more than one. I have hard enough time keeping up with the one, so I have no interest in having anymore than one. Doesn't really matter, I just don't want to be confused with someone else.

The parrots continue about their business.

I don't think he was referring to you 13P.

13P doesn't post very much on the forum anymore, a lot like Miroku. They usually poke back in when there's new news about Avatar.

He has no reason to be anything or anyone other than himself, which is pretty awesome in and of itself.

So far I've bought all the little DVDs within a day of them coming out, and I can assure you this time will be no different! Since I didn't have cable when I began watching avatar on youtube, I decided I should buy all the DVDs to support the show, since I was not helping otherwise.

*sigh* if only they had kept them up on youtube, they could have gotten more fans that way, such as me, and made more money. Nick, you fools! DVDs are way better then the internet, people will buy your stuff to see them in better quality and get extras! Geezus.

If not, it's the thought that counts. At least he'll have those annoying little comic bits that they stick behind the front covers. Or buy him a portable DVD player too!

Actually, its not like it used to be for the overseas bunch. They have pretty good conditions there.

Though... its a kid show... so no Army guy would get a chance to watch it in the base's DVD player...

So a portable would be an awesome gift.

That's really awesome in so many ways. You are selflessly giving the gift of Avatar to a man in need. Now that I think about it, Avatar is probably a really inspiring thing to watch overseas!!

Oh yeah I forgot I need to blog or start a thread on that...Collin said it wouldn't be up until Friday...because he's got school and is going to put together a video of everything at the NYCC with the Bryke interview at the end.

Alright, that's cool. I can wait till Friday. In other news, in exactly 2 weeks, we will be boiling some serious rock. That is, if you're cool enough to buy the DVD and watch Avatar as the Avatar gods intended. Otherwise, you'll only be boiling trace amounts of rock on a blurry youtube screen.
