Did you really expect anything different though? You are in the avatar forum so ofcourse you are going to meet avatar "fan boy/girl". This thread is really in another asking whether people prefer Naruto or Avatar, cause people are normally going to vote for the character in their favourite show.

I'll tell you what Aang would do: he would stamp his foot, and half a milli-second later a giant slab of rock would burst out of the ground under Naruto's feet and mold itself around his body, completely immobilizing him. Two seconds later, Aang would have enlarged the rock, making it a pillar of rock holding Naruto several hundred feet up in the air. For good measure, if there was a river nearby Aang would require four seconds to summon enough water to have created a mini-lake around the pillar of rock. Two seconds after that Aang would have airbended himself up to Naruto's height, and spend 13 seconds offering naruto mercy. If mercy was refused, Aang would start to firebend.

So Naruto gets pwned in 20 seconds flat.

Naruto uses substitution jutsu, shadow clones and Rasengan. Battle over.

Can he use any of those without moving his hands, feet, or pretty much any part of his body? Because if Naruto stands in one spot for more than a couple of seconds, he will find himself encased in that rock I mentioned.

Shadow clones don't aren't even a slight threat to Aang. A simple attack and they poof away.

And unlike every other person Naruto fights, Aang won't stand still while Naruto shoves the Rasengan in his face. He'd have to come up with some brilliant way, that can completely take Aang's ability to use any of the elements, and I don't see how short of somehow killing Aang would that be possibly.

Aang fighting without using any hand signs and being able to change the entire complexity of the battlefield at will.

When has Aang ever done that on Avatar? You can't say Aang has the ability to do all that if he hasn't shown it. Plus if Naruto sees the rock coming up at him he'll know what he has to do.

He did that in the finale. When Avatar ACUTUALLY ENDED. Aang Vs. Ozai. when he used the blind earthbending.

EDIT: Aang is also smarter than Naruto. He spent his time meditating and training, getting a lot of advice from others, as well as giving respect to others. Unlike Naruto, Aang wasn't always thinking about "Hmmm...How do I make my rasengan even MORE powerfull...."

    1. Aang didn't create a huge pillar of rock so part of that was made up.

    2. Ozai already had the **** beaten out of him and his bending was taken away so fighting back was something he couldn't do.

Dude...you have no idea. If you truly believe in what you just said, then you are denying the truth of the Finale, (and it's epicness). WTH? We never said anything about a huge pillar of rock dude. YOU made that up. At least in your argument with me anyways. His bending was taken away AFTER he encased him in the earth, nitwit. He took his bending away AFTER. BTW, Aang spared Ozai's life, if you remember, in that fight, and he only got the crap beat out of him BECAUSE OF THAT. Naruto get's the crap beaten out of him either way, because his attack pattern is so darn repetitive. I'm sending out the signal. This thread is finished.

Until next time, newbie. Maybe you can join our picnic, lol.

    I'm sending the mod signal.

Bolded the pillar part. Ozai had the crap beaten out of him and then he was encased in rock and then his bending taken away. Ozai was too weak to fight his way out of the rock.

Btw, I was about to close this but then I noticed your post so I decided to respond. I'm not the one taking this so seriously. When did I not support my claims? I'm going by normal Naruto vs normal Aang.

Lets think of this in a different way. Naruto summons Gamabunta. Can Aang handle that without going into the Avatar State?

Are you seriously trying to tell us that Kung-fu action Jesus doesn't have god-like powers

No, seriously; Aang is now capable of summoning the Avatar state in seconds. Once he does that, it's over - Aang is capable of summoning five fireballs that are all bigger than the one Iroh smashed through the wall of Ba Sing Se with simultaneously, creating tidal waves of water, airbending tornadoes, and completely rearranging the landscape via earthbending (so I don't think that a pillar of rock would give him much trouble). This is not exageration; he did all of those things during the finale. Aang can stand literally miles away from his opponents and still be able to crush them underneath piles of earth and/or water (again, demonstrated in the finale). He can also run so fast that he covers miles of land in mere seconds (see "The Blue Spirit), or he can just fly it. And even assuming that Naruto somehow manages to come within striking distance of Aang (and survive), he's still in peril - close quarters combat is useless since if Aang so much as manages to lay his hands on Naruto he can paralyze him and eliminate him as a threat with spirit bending.

    Yes, Aang's powers aren't god-like at all

BTW Axrendale, Plz be on my team during the next four nations tourney.

I WANT YOU FOR TRIVIA. You would be on the team called, "The noble Avatards of the refuge." You can't see the forum for the teams cause you didn't participate last time. But it's there. Our team won last time. Now I'm the captain, and I'm keeping an eye out for trivia masters. You are the historian. Obviously, I want you as trivia man.

XD I was the trivia master for my team. we would be unstoppable and flatten tomtitan in trivia. He's really good.

    Yeah, that's it.

    And your post rocks.

Can he do this to 9 tailed Naruto? I don't think he can. Hell, we've seen what 1 tailed Naruto can do and that was damn strong. But it is late so I'll argue later about that.

God-like powers...characters with god-like powers would be something like Goku, Mewtwo or Superman.

Goku: If you've watched DBZ, I don't need to explain.

Mewtwo: Mind control and mind erasing is hax.

Superman: I remember in Superman Returns that Superman gets shot in the eye and the bullet doesn't affect Superman at all. That is strong.

If Aang could hold his own against any of the 3 mentioned, then he might be God-like. But lets think, can he?

Actually yes - all he his to do is lay his hands on them, and that's it; the unlucky enemy is rendered unable to move, and will soon after be rendered powerless. Since Aang can run/fly as fast as the wind, I don't think that he would have any problems (again, I strees that all he needs is contact with his hands). Let's credit Aang's connection to the spirit world as granting him immunity to enemy mind influences, at least long enough to get his hands on them (and if he was in the Avatar State he would have the advantage of channeling several thousand minds instead of just one). Soof the opponents you mentioned, the only who stands even a remote chance is Superman - the one who can move fast enough to escape. Fortunatly, the "man of steel" is one of the most arrogant and self-sure heroes in creation, and would most likely simpy stand still, in order to show off his invulnerabilty to his enemy, and would be unpleasantly surprised to find himself suddenly rendered powerless.

It should be noted that Aang's spirit bending, his incredible speed, and his connection to the Spirit World are not Avatar State related powers - they are the abilities that "normal Aang" as you dubbed him, would use to pwn Naruto when not in the Avatar State.

Mewtwo, Superman, and Goku are all not human, so pitting them against the very human Aang isn't fair, and really shouldn't be brought into the dicussion. To say Aang is as mortal as anyone else, his powers are deity like.

Mewtwo, Superman, and Goku are all not human, so pitting them against the very human Aang isn't fair, and really shouldn't be brought into the dicussion. To say Aang is as mortal as anyone else, his powers are deity like.

Very true, and that is why we all love Aang far more than any of those three. But I maintain that provided Aang's Spirit Bending can be applied to them, I maintain that Aang has a fair chance of winning now.

To put Aang against Superman is just suicide. I, being a crazy Avatard, will admitt that Superman is too powerful for Aang. This guy has pretty much every power imaginable. Not really a fair fight unless there was kryptonite nearby.

Goku would take so freaking long to gather energy, Aang would have been taken him down. Seriously, he has taken a whole episode just to gather energy for an attack. That fails incredibly hard.

I don't know who this Mewtwo is, so I don't have an opinion.

Now let's turn the question around: can Naruto hold his own against these people?

    Now that we have Superman settled;

Goku: He can destroy planets. If Vegeta as a saiyan was able to, imagine what SS4 Goku could do.

Mewtwo: ...Mewtwo is a pokemon. Man, I thought everyone saw the first movie. Guess I was wrong...Anyway, Mewtwo can cause hurricanes with a flick of his wrist, control humans for at least several weeks(as he did to Nurse Joy), teleport, and use psychic powers.

And no, Naruto can't handle any of the 3. But neither can Aang.

naruto annoys me....aang would kick his a$$ in seconds....he got da avatar state...aang would win, no doubt

This is what I meant when I said that there are too many fanboys in this topic. You're saying that Naruto has nothing to counter Avatar state? Gamabunta? 9 tailed fox? Plus your username along with that post leads me to believe that you are an Avatar fanboy that thinks Aang has god-like powers.

I've never seen Superman be arrogant so I don't know where you're getting that from. And what is this Aang can render people powerless stuff? If you mean how he took away Ozais bending then that wouldn't work on the others because they don't bend. Mewtwo can also use attacks like Psychic, Confusion, Teleport, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, and many others. Because Aang is human, he's going to take a lot of pain from these attacks. Also note that Mewtwo can use Recover to heal himself and Barrier, Protect, and Safeguard to protect himself. He can also use Swift and Aura Sphere, attacks that NEVER miss, on Aang.

Goku can destroy planets with a simple blast. Warp Kamehameha could be used to attack Aang from behind and finish the battle.
