Aang vs Naruto.

    I probably did see the movie in passing and just didn't care enough to remember any of it. =P

    Goku takes at least a few seconds to prepare himself for attack. In Avatar, people don't sit and stare while someone prepares to obliviate them (Azula struck Aang in the back with lightning while his guard was down). So, it's reasonable to assume that Aang would earthbend cuffs for Goku and basically keep him from moving while he's charging his energy beamz. I forget how long it took Goku to go into S4, but it was long enough for someone to sneak behind him and stick a knife in his back. Since Aang is humane, he'll just encase him in ice or something.

    tl;dr- Taking five minutes to gather energy just fails.
    So you think Aang can beat Goku?

    Dragonfist took no time in the 13th movie. Not all of Gokus attacks take time to use.
    Altough i think we can all agree that Dragon Fist is just a watered down version of Falcon Punch

    When I saw that this was a 2-year old thread, I expected to see a clown puppet face somewhere... I hate when I'm right.

    Anyway, despite this being the Avatar thread, Naruto would win, simply because every Naruto character is godmodded to no end. Scratch that. Every action anime characer is godmodded to no end.

    Pretty Much. Allow me to break down the typical shonen action scene for people unfamiliar with the genre.

    You forgot that eventually Fighter 2 will be weak to no end, then Fighter 1 will ultimate attack. The Fighter 2 will immediately bounce back and start charging up, having survived said ultimate attack, despite being weak to no end. Then Fighter 1 is weak to no end from the ultimate attack... and so on, and so forth.

    Am I the only one who thinks Dragonball characters aren't invincible?Besides, Aang vs. Naruto? Please. People on this thread will merely side with who they like more. If they didn't, they would be betraying who they support more. Also, I highly doubt Aang or Naruto would be able to kill each other with one hit, regardless of what move they use. It really depends on the outcome of the battle. And the battle can end with hundreds of different possibilities. If Aang and Naruto fought each other in ten different battles, the possibility of one beating the other every time is very unlikely. Oh well. This IS a typical hypothetical versus thread.One more thing: Why would Aang and Naruto fight each other anyway? And how come Naruto always ends up in Avatar versus threads? Of all shows, why Naruto?
