March Madness 2021 Krusty Krew Chum Buddies St. Patrick Egg-cellent Easter |
March Madness 2021 was the ninth annual March Madness, which began March 1st, 2021, and concluded March 31st, 2021. The Krusty Krew and Chum Buddies faced off for their second March Madness, along with Solos, unaffiliated players. In the end, the Krusty Krew won, who received a special prize: a sneak peek at an SBC project, which was Jellyfish 14. Starting with this event, #sbc-games was made a permanent channel on the Discord for game promotion and interaction.

Four games this month counted for the event. The first one, "Sketch on the Run" on March 6th, 2021, was a SpongeBob movies themed game won by Steel Sponge for the Solos. The second one, "Old Man Patrick's Lucky Blessing" on March 13th, 2021 was a St. Patrick's Day and Patrick themed game won by Honest Slug for the Chum Buddies. The third one, "Snooping As Usual I see" was an SBC themed game won by dman for the Krusty Krew. The fourth and last one, "The Second Coming of Butch Hartman" was a Nickelodeon themed game won by Slug for the Chum Buddies.

Another iFish contest. The winning fish was SOF's for the Solos.
Whodunnit?: Episode 18
Whodunnit returned again for the event. The goal this time was to figure out who stole Mr. Krabs's number one dime. The following characters were suspects: Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob, Squidward, Plankton, Scooter, Bubble Bass, Mermaid Man and Squilliam. On select days during the event, the characters came on and released their anecdote on what happened. The characters would also come on to answer user's questions as well in their topics. Users had to PM jjs who they think the culprit is. On March 31st, the culprit was revealed to be Squilliam. NegiSpongie got it correct for the Krusty Krew and Fred got it correct for the Chum Buddies.
Easter Egg Hunt
An easter egg hunt was held from March 16th, 2021 to March 31st, 2021. Whoever found all 6 eggs gained a point for their team, 500 doubloons, and a Patrick Bunny collectable pin.
Minigame
Basketball Dunking
Returning from the past two years, users would throw a basketball at hoops, and the amount of points they received would be randomly generated, that is if they did not miss the hoop. The team that had the most overall points gathered by the end received a point, which was the Krusty Krew. The highest scorer was dman.
