SBC's Top 50 Best Episodes Ever! 2016 Edition
"SBC's Top 50 Best Episodes Ever" is a semi-annual, fan-voted countdown, compiling lists of member's favorite episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. The 2016 edition was a follow-up to the 2013 and 2015 editions, and is a compliment to a worst list of similar name. However, it was paused in 2017 to avoid burnout before it was revived in 2018. Members were allowed to send commentary to give kind words and praises on their picks.

Trivia
- First list where there needed to be two hosts, due to difficulties in More's schedule. However, More ended up coming back as the list slowed down.
- Even though the list started in July, it was not finished until October when jjsthekid announced the final five episodes. The exact reasons for the amount of pauses that occurred are still unknown, but predicted to be due to lack of commentary. There were no plans to create a 2017 list for either the best of or worst of.
- This is the first time that "Krusty Krab Training Video" crowned the list at #1, barely edging out 2015's victor "Chocolate with Nuts" by five points. It also had the most #1 votes of any episode this year, with four.
- Other episodes to recieve multiple #1 Votes were Chocolate with Nuts at #3 and Dying for Pie at #6.
- This year saw the most post-movie episodes making the countdown, with 11 in total. Out of them, both "Planet of the Jellyfish" and "Plankton's Pet" aired after 2007.
