Tv.com (2009)
Jjs had been lurking Tv.com since summer 2007 but did not join until January 2, 2009 after a period of hesitance. When he first joined Tv.com, he got off to a rough start due to lack of internet experience like most members. His first post in the SpongeBob board was with his first story: The Adventures of Gary the Snail. In March 2009, he was suspended for the first time ever for unknown reasons. He returned to host his St. Patrick's Day blog party and reached Level 10 that same day. He continued to be an active user primarily in the SpongeBob board over the next few months, but did post in other show boards such as Chowder, Family Guy and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He was a witness of the event where it was revealed Rock_Goddess_18 was actually Captain52. Bob_Ball revealed that Rock_Goddess was Captain52 who made multiple accounts and he later left. Because of this, he couldn't host the 4th Spinnys and so jjs opted to host them, but Bob_Ball came back to host them. He celebrated the SpongeBash with everyone else on Tv.com at the time. He held his second blog party on July 31st. During the Forum Attack 2009, he was one of the few users that didn't get banned, suspended, or a TOS violation. He then hosted the 5th Spinnys in August. He also became the editor for Marc Thompson in July 2009 which was his first editorship. In fall 2009, he posted his 100th blog, along with reaching Level 17. Things soon took a sour turn when he eventually got into a fight with 70s and terminoob over Mermaid Man: The Brave and The Bold. After that incident, he became less active and slowly lost interest in vV.com when everyone from the SpongeBob forum started getting suspended or banned.
Joining SBC (2010 - 2014)
He later finally joined SBC on January 23rd, 2010, after much persuasion from Spongebobs1fan. Jjs became very active on SBC, eventually being promoted to the position of moderator with tvguy and sbs1fan in March 2010. He slowly drifted away from TV.com and spent a majority of his time on the new SpongeBob Community. He became an administrator on SBC on June 20th, 2010, alongside tvguy. Jjs was finally banned from TV.com on August 17th, 2010.
He became increasingly more involved with SBC, and helped design V6 Shark. Following the move to vBulletin in September 2011, jjs substantially increased his role on SBC. He began hosting SpongeBob Jeopardy! every week and handled a majority of SBC's workload in the administrative panel. He oversaw the day-to-day operations of the forums, including interactions between the staff and users. During the The SpongeBob Community Civil War, jjs became an unofficial de facto leader of the site when both tvguy and that70sguy92 resigned within weeks of each other. jjs and Wumbo, left as the sole administrators, named CDCB the third admin shortly after 70s's departure.
In early 2012, a new era began on SBC with the move to phpBB after SBC was shut down. Jjs was forced into difficult positions during this time, including several dramas and decreasing activity. With the return of tvguy as the Lead Admin, he became the Deputy Director of SpongeBob Universe. On June 1, 2013, Jjs resigned from SBC staff after a fight with tvguy. He returned on August 10th, 2013 and has served consecutively on staff since.
After Aquatic Nuggets announced on December 28, 2014 that he was stepping down as Lead Manager, the position was passed to Jjsthekid on January 16, 2015.
As Lead Administrator (January 2015-present)
In the early years of Jjs's administration, SBC reached its peak of activity, with the single-day visitor count surpassing 100 users on more than one occasion. He has been the primary moving force behind most of SBC's community events since the mid-2010s, with Wheel of Fortune, SpongeBob Jeopardy!, and currently, Pictionary being only a few of them. He has also led SBC through its most difficult times to date, most notably holding the site together during the Third SBC Renaissance, and taken a more low-key approach to dealing with other incidents of interpersonal drama throughout the community. In recent years, he no longer considers himself the "leader" of the community anymore as SBC shifted to being a smaller.
