WhaleBlubber was an infamous troll that stalked the SpongeBob Squarepants TV.com boards and later, SBC, over the course of 2005-2011.
Beginnings
Starting off as a troll on the TV.com SpongeBob Squarepants board in 2005, Whaleblubber, better known as Im_A_Shark, was the most infamous member. He made multiple accounts focusing on under-sea creature names and always insulted other users. He kept getting banned from the site, eventually returning back in March of 2009 with a new name known as Sharkentor. Of course, that account was banned.
In July 2009, there was suspicion that he had returned, with rumors circulating that fellow user Spongebobs1fan's account was hacked by Whaleblubber. He said rude things and was pretending to be spongebobs1fan and retired him from his editorships. However, some say that spongebob1sfan was just joking and pretending to be him, but it was actually his little brother who views TV.com.
Forum Attack 2009
When the TV.com SpongeBob forums were attacked in 2009 (causing the suspension and banning of several users), many suspected WhaleBlubber, but it was actually Nightmarefan17/Rockgoddess, in vengeance for being exposed.
Summer SpongeBob forum attack
Despite not being involved in 2009's forum attack on the TV.com SpongeBob Boards, Whaleblubber was the culprit behind the 2010 forum attack. Everyone was warned the night before by SpongeSebastian who said that Whaleblubber planned to return to TV.com with a list of people he wanted to get banned. The following morning, WhaleBlubber tricked TV.com staff into banning, suspending, and giving multiple members TOS notifications. The attack left seven prominent users banned, three users suspended, and four with a TOS (Terms of Service violation). Thankfully, WhaleBlubber was too soon banned.
The SpongeBob Community incidents
Following the Summer attack, Whaleblubber came onto SBC with an account called guymonty, which everyone suspected to be him. This lead to the very first SBC Court Case in which he was found guilty and banned.
(Note: From here onward, there are multiple suspicions that the acts listed below were not actually the work of WhaleBlubber.)
He was alleged to have returned on February 6th, 2011 when he hacked the SBC xat. He then said next week he would hack SBC. On February 13th, 2011, he did. But that70sguy92 managed to fix it. He then revealed he knew everything about everyone, revealing he had been watching us. He then warned he wasn't done yet and left.
In late May 2011, Whaleblubber supposedly hacked the SBC Xat once again and pretended to be tvguy, Ex, and Face. The people on did not fall it. Whaleblubbers words were revealed true when he revealed he did in fact know everything about recent SBC events. He then left the Xat after a while. In December 29, 2011, Whaleblubber revealed to the entire community that that70sguy92 was 15 years old. The reveal shocked everyone and revealed 70s as a liar, as 70s had previously established he was a young adult with a wife and two kids. Whaleblubber supposedly discovered this by stalking 70s onto a Glee forum, where he hadn't lied to the users there about his identity like he did to his SBC friends. After, Whaleblubber disappeared and the site has never had another encounter with him.
Final Encounter
In July 2012, Whaleblubber told SpongeSebastian in an email that all of the chat hackings and SBC hackings were not in fact him, but a member trying to play on the other members' absolute fear of WhaleBlubber. However, this is not believed to be 100% true. There are some rumors that the culprit behind the Whaleblubber xat impersonations was someone who knew the Main Owner password, but this is pure speculation. Regardless of whoever it truly was, Whaleblubber has never contacted SBC again and his whereabouts are unknown.
Legacy
Despite not being active on SBC in years, Whaleblubber has not been forgotten in SBC's history. Whenever users talk about SBC trolls, WhaleBlubber is usually always mentioned. He has been satirized and featured in various spin-offs and literatures on SBC, such as SBC Parallel Universe, Community Deathmatch, The Marvelous Misadventures of Patback, Sharky Shore, The Dark Adventures of The Land Takers, and The SBC Show.
