I wanted Heather to win TDI, since she was the only character (bar Duncan near the end) to actually strategise and get people off the show. The others just followed the bandwagon on voting off who messes up or that they dislike. Understandable but boring.
In Action the antagonists seemed non-existent. Justin looked promising then faded into obscurity and Courtney was just an ANNOYING antagonist. None of the characters really deserved to win in that season. It was just bland. Although since Geoff is my favourite character I guess he'd edge this.
In World Tour? Alejandro or Heather again. Although I admit that Tyler, Sierra and Courtney also could have won and deserve it entirely.
TDI: Gwen, Geoff, Trent but Owen wouldend in 2nd place.
TDA: Harold, Izzy
TDWT: Cody, Noah, Courtney, Tyler, Bridgette
I now think that it's gotten to the point where I would be happy whether Heather or Cody won "Total Drama World Tour," as they both have about a 50/50 chance at this point.

I definitely agree that the winner should never be someone who just sits on the sidelines and does nothing to help themselves win. That's why I was VERY annoyed when Owen won TDI, especially since I correctly predicted it would happen early on. However, I also think that if the winner plays a major role in the plot, then I can forgive any lack of real strategizing on their part. Not that they deserve it necessarily, but it's much better writing than letting the comical underdog win. In that regard, everyone in the Final 5 of TDA would have been an acceptable winner except for Owen and Beth(though I didn't want Courtney to win either because she came in halfway through the season and it would have been unfair).

Heather winning TDWT was pretty much the perfect ending since she was both a good strategist and signiaficant to the plot. Alejandro too.
