As most of us already know, 6teen has begun airing on Cartoon Network.

I couldn't help but notice something strange. Tonight, TDI and 6teen were literally shown back to back on CN. I groaned as Camp Castaways was trashed by some of the worst censoring I've seen yet. 'Owen gets famous fantasies'? Yeah right! Then I watched some of the 6teen episode right after that. That reminded me that I've seen absolutely no censoring on 6teen what so ever. I've heard them say 'suck' and make many more mature comments. I've even heard one of the guys yell 'oh crap!'. And yet, we see Duncan's confessional go from 'stuck on an island with two hot girls' to 'stuck on an island with two cool girls'.

I'm confused here. They're tearing TDI apart, when they haven't even censored anything from 6teen, which is an arguably the more 'mature' show?

Yes, I've noticed that too about 6teen. But the main thing for me is, I don't understand why word editing is such a big deal. I care more about them editing what they DO then what they say.

man ive noticed that too and WTF theres nothing wrong with the words crap, suck, hot, or anything else im kinda wondering why theyre not editing those words from 6teen but theyre doing to TDI i mean theres nothing wrong with these words there not cuss words CN needs to quit editing the words thats annoying, plus everyone knows that younger kids say these words too

I knew there was something was funny when 6teen was up on CN. They actually are allowing the show to keep the words they have! With crap, suck, hot, etc. it came out to be the show that I really loved when it was on Nick. But why can't they do the same thing on TDI? Heck, I even saw movies on CN that say "suck" or "hot". It's ridiculous! TDI should have a fair tratment like what they are doing to 6teen. Because if this trend of bad dubs on TDI continues, it will not be as great as it is now!

I noticed and i was wondering why TDI gets edited and 6teen doesn't(don't get me wrong i like that there not editing those words out.) TDi shouldn't get edited, the original rocked!

It is unfair that they edit almost EVERYTHING in TDI, but in 6Teen, they hardly edit it, if at all. Why did they edit Duncan saying hot? He said it about Courtney a few episodes ago, and again later.

You know what they should've done? Since 6Teen is keeping words in, they should air the TDI that come on after it, un-edited. Or, at least, as un-edited as they can get.

    Good lord, I hate censorship.

I was watching 6Teen the other day, and I heard one of them say that something "blows."

Yet, on the very first episode of TDI, Heather can't say "skeaze"?

    Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame.

i got angry when they made him say that. cuz afrterwards he says "too bad they are both incredibly annoying" or something like that. why would he call them cool and then call them annoying?

Gay if I'm not mistaken. That's certainly what was edited from "Dude of the Living Dead." In the original Canadian version Jonesy says he got hired by the lingerie shop he's working at by claiming he's gay which in the CN airing became famous, which really makes no sense.

The real test for CN will be the episode "The Khaki Girl." I won't spoiler it here, but the potentially offending section of this episode can't be effectively edited, so CN might not play it.

The 'Owen gets famous fantasies' were originally the 'Owen gets jiggy fantasies'.

If they are gonna censor something, they should at least make sure it makes sense.

I can understand gay but they could've come up with something better then famous.
