SpongeBob SquarePants: Your most hated season.

Here we can discuss and let off some steam of what we think is the most horrible season after the movie. Out of all the episodes I think that are crappy, I would have to say season 5 had the most of them. So I would have to say season 5 I think is the worst. My reasons are:
Okay first off, there was a lot of nasty episodes, (TLaP & TBoBB.) Either that or they had pointless and/or pathetic plots. (Like Blackened Sponge and Black Jack.) A few episodes are even both nasty and had a ridiculous plot. Some also had some horrifying images like one of my most hated episodes of all time: Fungus Among Us. There was also fillers like Waiting and showing some immaturity and snapping in SpongeBob that is normally not seen in him, I also hate Squid Wood. I hate all episodes like that where Squidward suffers with hellish treatment, these episodes are: Squid Wood (I think its a season 5 episode, and also Good Ol' Whathisname.) There was also some very disappointing specials like Atlantis SquarePantis and Pest of the West. Next we got some mistreatments towards SpongeBob. I didn't like what SpongeBob went through in The Original Frycook, that one just didn't make any sense. There are probably some other reasons I can mention but not right now, once I do think of them however, I will post them in later posts on this thread. My rant about this is now finished.
(Season 6 is a close second with annoying and appauling episodes such as Penny Foolish and The Splinter.)
(Season 4 IMO is the least terrible, I actually liked some episodes like Selling Out, Skill Crane, Chimps Ahoy!, and Patrick SmartPants. The only episodes I don't like are Good Neighbors and Gift of Gum.)

Hey guys, since I mentioned that I like Skill Crane in season 4 but I hate just about all the episodes where Squidward gets sabotaged, sometimes the ending can really save an episode and make all the difference. IMO the ending saved this episode because Squidward manages to get a prize in the end and he is able to gloat that he is a skill crane winner! At the very end he may be surrounded by tough guys, but at least they don't show us of what might have happened to him in the end, and who knows maybe he was able to escape! So IMO the Squidward sabotage wasn't too bad and I can name some episodes where its far worse than this. I don't know if all the other Squidward fans like me can agree with me on this or not.
(I also liked the prizes SB won like a teddy bear and other stuffed animals, and I also liked it when Mr. Krabs got all those shiny golden quarters!)
And for those that don't know, my top three favorite characters are Squidward, Squillaim, and Mr. Krabs, which is why I don't like it when they get any misfortunes of some sort that IMO are too bad.
(BTW stands for by the way, IMO stands for in my opinion, and FTW stands for for the win.)

I went with Season 5. Season 4 had some really good episodes and I am actually enjoying Season 6.

Season 5 is the worse without a doubt.

Hmm you hate Squidward sabotage. If only RaeandAnasRock was here. He hated Squidward sabotage a lot too. You two could be pretty good friends.

Season four was the worst of the three. I'm not a big fan of the potty and random humor in season five and six, but with season four I can just tell that the writers weren't even trying to make an effort.

Well Season 5 is winning by a landslide and I agree that it is the worst. However, I will make a case for why the other two could be considered hated, even though I don't hate them at all.

Season 4 felt like a collapse from arguably the best season (Season 3). Some people feel like not much thought was put into the episodes and I can see it in episodes like That's No Lady for example. I mean come on Patrick dressing up like a girl? Another example is All That Glitters. SpongeBob breaks his spatula and has to get a new one? I can obviously tell that the plot was thought up in like five seconds.

Season 6. While I think it is a major step from Season 5, there are still traces of vulgar humor and lazy script writing. There are also signs of uncreative ideas like Penny Foolish. Mr Krabs obsessing over a penny that ends up not existing. And I don't feel like mentioning the foul, awful episode that I don't want to bring up.

Season 4 had some AMAZING episodes. Krusty Towers, Wishing You Well, Dunces And Dragons, Where's Gary. Need I say anymore? No.

Season 5 was too an impressive season. Lots more of the good episodes. Atlantis SquarePantis (ducks), The Inmates of Summer & To Save a Squirrel (ducks again), 20, 000 Patties Under The Sea (ducks once more) and many others (Pat No Pay and so on.)

It's a severely underrated (in my opinion) season. However, why am I voting it the worst? Well, let's compare.

First off, how many episodes do I hate from each of those seasons?
Season 4: 4
Season 5: 3

So if Season 4 had more bad episodes, why is Season 5 the worst? Well, it's simple. Season 4 has better episodes hands down. I may not have seen all of the episodes of Season 5 (and I still haven't seen Gift of Gum yet ) but seriously, even the best of the fifth season (Roller Cowards or Pat No Pay) are a lot worse than episodes like Krusty Towers. So it's not always about how bad the episodes were, but also how good.

I despise To Love a Patty too, I'm also not a big fan of Waiting that much, but I thought the Two Faces of Squidward was pretty good. Everyone's got different favorites and different episodes they dislike too! But at least I can agree with most of PokeSponge's least favorite episodes.
Yeah if you knew it and you forgot it, how did that happen I wonder? Sometimes life is mysterious like that. Anyway here's a good Epic Failure photo to match this situation.

But, seriosly, I don't think clearly to things I don't take. I mean, yes, I see the current 3 seasons are pretty awful. However, I can't tapp myself to hate. Besides, I'm terrible of hating.

Season 5 without a doubt. I have a really hard time picking out my favorites from that season, it's just that none of them were actually amazing, I defend Atlantis SquarePnatis a lot, and I even put it on my top 10, but that is about it. There were way too many bad episodes and some were good, a couple great, but very few were amazing, as I just said.

Season 4, is the season in which I have the most least favorite episodes, but why isn't it my least favorite season? Because it has some awesome episodes to make up for the horrrrrible ones, like: Krusty Towers, Fear of A Krabby Patty, Dunces and Dragons, etc. Although the decrease on quality from seaosn 3 to season 4 is humongous, I still like this season, but I curse all the abominations of episodes it has, like: New Leaf (ya'll know I hate it), Good Neighbors, The Gift of Gum, Rule of Dumb, etc.

Season 6 has some disappointments, but like season 4, it has some other great ones that make up for the others. Although I don't hate any of the episodes yet, I even like The Splinter (ducks), and my least favorite from that season, Boating Buddies, I still like it.
