SpongeBob was one of the greatest cartoons of the past 10 years, but I've gotta admit, I miss the spice from Stephen Hillenburg. Is he ever coming back?

I sure wish he does. I'm not even 100% sure of why he left on the first place

I think in the documentary he said he wanted to take a break from the show for some reason.

I wish he hadn't. He brought a spark to the show that just isn't there anymore.

I hope he eventually considers coming back. He's the reason why the show exists in the first place, and without him, the showing is having a bit of trouble stabilizing itself. I guees he's just really into marine biology.

I hope he will come back, but I don't think he actually will.

If he only wanted the show to have three seasons, he couldn't have liked it that much.
The show wouldn't be as good without the newer seasons, even if they aren't as "classic".

He didn't leave, in the documentary he said he was the Executive Producer.

Great, but still, it isn't the same without him at his former position.

Well, his break was long enough. He seriously needs to come back

Still, working on the executive side doesn't actually help on the quality of the episodes and that's how the show needs him now, back on the writing team.
