Why's Spongebob so annoying now?

    Also, I'm tired of people complaining about "too much Squidward" abuse in the new episodes. They always had Squidward abuse even in seasons 1, 2, and 3 (take Jellyfishing, Culture Shock, Club SpongeBob, and Can You Spare a Dime? for example). Besides, how many times do you think Whiley Cyote had abuse? A lot more than Squid abuse and I dont hear people complaining about that.

    i dont think in season 7 there will be much squidward abuse because the story lines are always about plankton

    He might be a little annoying to teens but not to kids, and this is a kids show! That's why he is who he is.

    KingBoo, there WAS some abuse, but not to the extreme extent as it is now. He usually deserved it in those episodes, because he either made fun of someone or something like that.

    Now, it's for no reason. Even when all he wants to do is have fun, Spongebob and Patrick absolutely crush his hopes and dreams.

    Yes, but in those seasons, SpongeBob wasn't just doing it out of stupidity like Patrick. Plus, in the episode "Can You Spare a Dime?", Squidward was was the one who was abusing SpongeBob, not vise-versa.

    No you weren't, I agree 100%. Squidward is SUPPOSED to be abused. If anything, he's having to many good moments. Winning twice in one season (SCS and HF is Season 6)? Way to much for Squiddy. Like it or not, he's clearly on the face of this planet just to be annoyed. And remember, he's just a drawing.
