That's quite strange and it was also the only episode that was like asian because they fighted more karate and for that reason it could be also why it reached #1 in the Best Day Ever Marathon.

I'm sure it isn't as childish as "Fear of A Krabby Patty"
I think the reason why is because everybody loved the various movie parodies Karate Island was doing, including a few references to Tarantino's Kill Bill and Bruce Lee's Game Of Death and Enter The Dragon.
I mean, if you never watch those kinds of movies, then you might not get all the jokes in the episode.
