SpongeBob SquarePants: Why is there so much hate for the new seasons?

I've noticed the extreme hate for the post-movie episodes, and personally I'm getting tired of it. OK, I get it. The new seasons are not as good. I will fully, 100% percent admit it. But it's gotten ridicolous. For example, I read this on another SpongeBob forums:
"The new seasons beat up my dog and kicked it on the foorsteps, I hate the new seasons"
And this was a FAN. I mean, really? Why is this the show everyone attacks? There are so many worse shows. The Mighty B!, Mr. Meaty, The Naked Brothers Band. SpongeBob is still a high quality show. The new seasons have had a lot of great episodes, such as:
Krusty Towers, Fear of a Krabby Patty, Dunces and Dragons, Wishing You Well, The Lost Mattress, Where's Gary?, Best Frenemies, Wigstruck, Patrick SmartPants, Mr.s Puff You're Fired, Bummer Vacation, Born to Be Wild, Sing a Song of Patrick, Spy Buddies, Friend of Foe?, New Digs, Krab a la Mode, Roller Cowards, Goo Goo Gas, Le Big Switch, The Inmates of Summer, Stanley S. SquarePants, House Fancy, Not Normal, Krabby Road, A Life in a Day, Patty Caper, The Krabby Kronicle, The Slumber Party. Porous Pockets, Krusty Krushers, Ditchin', SpongeBob vs. the Big One, Grandpappy the Pirate, Single Cell Anniversary, and many more.
The show is still hillarious, so I don't know why people trash it so much.

Sure, the show has had a noticeable decrease in quality after the movie, but people should'nt be completely harsh on the new episodes. I can tell that the writers are putting a tremendous effort into bringing this show back to its beloved quality, and it's still getting the phenomenal ratings that it had before (in fact, I think the show is getting even bigger ratings than it had before). Sure, there are still crappy episodes that come out like "Waiting" and "Penny Foolish", but after seeing the more recent ones, I think the show is making another comeback. For example, shortly after "Single Cell Anniversary" aired, pretty much everyone here said that they loved the episode and gave it either a 9/10 or 10/10 rating. I've never lost hope in the show, and that's why I'm still a devout fan.

Well, all I care about is if they hate season 7, which I highly doubt, there really isn't any episode so far that is bad.

I'm not sure why, I love the new seasons,and that was hilarious, the new season beat up my dog?!?!?!!

I LOVE the new seasons! Unfortunately, some of my friends have lost interest in SpongeBob since it has according to them "gone downhill." ???
I think the new seasons are much better than the old seasons. Sure, more was done in the earlier seasons, but the new seasons are more entertaining.

I have liked the how the video quality has been improving from the first season. I didn't like season 4 AS much as the other 3 seasons. Season 5 to me is personally bringing it back from what bad things season 4 gave us. It is really funny. I personally think that season 4 wasn't the best because to me, I think it was from all the specials they focused on. If I remember right, wasn't season 4 the season with the most specials?

Actually season 5 was the season with the most specials.

Then I must be thinking of Season 5 though. Maybe they were just being a bit lazy durign season 4? There were a few Season 4 episodes I liked. But I say either focusing on specials or lazyness.

I guess the SB fan who said the new seasons beat up his dog has an extreme dislike of gross-out gags and kiddy humor, which is present in some, but not all Season 4-7 episodes.

Yeah. They have gone too far with some of the gross-out stuff, but, oh well.

I still love the show. In fact, it's my favorite show on TV, with Mythbusters a close second. Anyways, I think the show gets so much hate because people like to insult things that have had a lot of success.

Me, too and you know what? I'm sick of people saying that Seasons 4-7 suck The truth is, if you go through the list, you can tell there are some shining good episodes here and there.

I don't think they are as bad as some people make them out to be, but they are surely a good bit worse than the originals. If the series started with season 4, I'm not sure I would like it at all.
