    Because it just is!!! Patrick is smart and Spongebob is dumb! Its like mixed up dude!

    Spongebob's voice has gotten higher and his voice became annoying.It's like another actor replaced him.The screen became brighter and the episodes became worse.The episodes have gotten better.But Spongebob still has the voice problem.

    Hey don't blame it on the president. It's just a matter of change Ok. We experience it every single time. So The reason why Season 4 is Horrible is because it's your opinion ok there is no right answer to that. Besides Season 5 really helps Spongebob get better ratings IMO!!

    Maybe because y'all got older and you don't think SpongeBob is as funny now. I've always thought he was funny and most likely always will.

    He lists his college, where he graduated, stuff only Tom himself would know. But myspace says the account is invalid now. I sent him a message about Season 4 a couple weeks ago.

    Nah, there's still some funny jokes every now and then. But the new crew didn't know how to do Spongebob the way the original crew did. Especially in the beginning of Season 4.

    It's just not funny. There are some new episodes where I don't laugh at all, not good for a comedy.

    Humor's getting better. I just can't stand the character changes. I agree with whoever said SB is turning into a spaz. Did anyone else notice that before they were showing episodes with Mr. Krabs, now it's Patrick? Oh well, guess it's supposed to be different since it's a new team of writers.

    Everything's fast paced, not the hilarious jokes anymore, thin plot summary, voice changes, rubbish dialogue, not that same old Spongebob feel, and the list goes on and on...

    It doesn't have the same cleverness the show used to have. Steve said they wouldn't use any pop cultural references. But season 4 has plenty of them.

    It sucks they don't show the new episodes every friday like they used to.

    Many season 4 episodes don't make any sense at all in difference than the other seasons were some of the episodes did made sense.

    One thing that i don't like about season 4 is that seasons 2 and 3 used some adult-like dialect that grabbed the attention of grown-ups and teenagers. But it now uses FairlyOddParents-style humor which is good, but doesn't stick with its own genre.
