Sponge Bob sort of went downhill in season 4, but it's coming back right here in season 7, but poeple are still dissing SpongeBob, saying he's still going downhill and are exaggerating it and giving it 1 out of 10! GASP! But I think it's still a popular show that makes a lot of cash, and why do those DINOSOURS have to pick on this show still?!

I suppose some haters think that Season 7 is still nowhere near as brilliant as Seasons 2 and 3 (Remember BoringKid?) while others believe Season 7 is terrible anyway considering the drop in quality throughout 4 and 5.

Well of course we don't think it's going down hill, it's definitely improving from season 4-6, and will hopefully keep on improving.

Yes, I remember BoringKid. He got reported along with a few others who gave Spongebob a bad reviews. Someone who had written a review before BoringKid got reported because he deserved it. He was being judgmental, basically saying that we, as Americans, are wrong to like Spongebob just because he doesn't. More specifically, he described Americans as "retarded". He was also using inappropriate words to describe the show and the voice actors. Did anyone else ever take time to read his review before it got deleted? Why did BoringKid along with the other people (besides the one I just mentioned) who gave the show a bad review get reported, though? Anyway, to stay on topic, I do agree with what people say about the drop in quality, that season 4-5 episodes are nowhere near as classical as the first 3 seasons. I also agree that the show has improved in the last two seasons. People are still giving it bad reviews probably just because they don't think it deserves to have lasted as long as it has, and they are probably annoyed at all the praise it has gotten.

To be honest, the show never really went downhill.

In Seasons 1-3, they were good in quality, but lacking an audience.

In Seasons 4-5, they were good in audience, but lacking good reviews.

It was a big balance then, but now, Seasons 6-7 are good in quality AND have good reviews!

Actually, it hasn't gotten bad, it just doesn't compare to the intensity of the first three seasons.

I admit that it went downhill with season 5 and that season 4 wasn't too good, but it started to go up with season 6, and right now, with season 7, the show is as good as the early years! All the Season 7 episodes have been great, or just good at the least.

STILL going downhill? Not at all, ya haters.

I guess some people just don't like season 7, but most that I've talked to actually like it.

Sure, season 4 got off on a really rocky start among judgemental fans here, but when you look back, season 4 had some really good episodes to come out like "Have You Seen This Snail" and "Krusty Towers", which are still getting good reviews here. The first half of season 5 was proving itself to be a bit of an improvement (what with episodes like "Roller Cowards" and "Sing a Song of Patrick"), but it eventually got too crazy and subpar in plotlines, especially with those three-story episodes. Season 6 and some goods (i.e. "Krusty Krushers" and "Not Normal) and some bads (i.e. "Penny Foolish" and the ever-so-trampled "The Splinter"). Now, season 7, from the episodes that have aired so far, is proving to be (for me, at least) a big comeback with the surprisingly possitively-reviewed "Single Cell Anniversary" and the other episodes that have some of the adult-platformed jokes that we loved in Seasons 2 and 3. I adored all the episodes that premiered during the Ultimate SpongeBob SpongeBash and I can't wait to see what they have in store next. I can really tell that they're doing their best to hire the top determined writers for the job and if they're willing to show the same effort in all future episodes, then I don't care if there's no end in sight!
