    Because Sponge Bob is gay(not the show the character) but There are alot of adults who love spongebob. I could think of like 20 right now.

    Anyway, I don't know of any parents that hate spongebob, they like it.

    Well just look forward to the new eposides.

    Plus SPONGEBOB IS NOT GAY for example in that eposide where he fell in love with a patty, he refered it has a SHE. Plus the whole Spongebob & Sandy thing shows you he isn't. If you can't say anything nice about him, don't say it at all.

    my dad stopped liking the show way before the new episodes came along well only a few years ago it became official that he didnt like it any more
