Why do people hate Patchy?

Many people including fans think he's annoying. Yeah, i guess whenever they focus a whole scene on him, but he can be funny at times. Tom Kenny's also plays Patchy, so how could you find him annoying?

I dont either but it does get annoying whenever they focus too much on him when we want to see the cartoon instead.

Really, I like Patchy! Even if they show a whole scene on him, I like him becauses hes funny.

I don't hate Patchy, but he isn't one of my favorite characters, either.

I like Patchy.I think he's funny. Although he brings a
new meaning to the words: Crusty Crab or if you prefer
Krusty Krab.

Patchy is supposed to be like that. Eg. the special effects are REALLY crappy.

I think he's not necessary to the plot and his whole act is just weird. I dont hate Tom Kenny but please make them stop with the Patchy act! its embarrassing.

They cut down on him in Have You Seen This Snail? Arguably, one of the only improvements Season 4 has made.
