Okay, it is common knowledge that the movie takes place after the series, meaning that during the events of season five, the movie story has yet to come. And I would say the only problem with Mr. Krabs is that he tried to steal the spot light in season four

Mr. Krabs probably loves Pearl more in these eps than he did in other seasons. In "Whale of a Birthday", he told SpongeBob to use his credit card to buy Pearl a gift. If he hadn't loved her, then he wouldn't have done any of those things in that episode and it would completely contradict what you said about him "not loving" Pearl.

When has SpongeBob acted like that in these new eps? And if he has behaved in an opinionated manner, it's for a good reason. He's done the same thing in older episodes too. In "Battle of Bikini Bottom", SpongeBob wasn't supposed to juststand there and listen, but he voiced his thoughts out and they made sense. In "Ghost Host", The Flying Dutchman was talking negatively about himself and it might hold true that SpongeBob did act opinionated, but if he wasn't a good person, he would have just let The Flying Dutchman put himself down like that.
SpongeBob acted opinionated in a lot of the older episodes before Season 4 like when Squidward said that playing with snowballs wasn't fun in "The Snowball Effect" or when Sandy and Patrick tried to make SpongeBob come back outside in "I Had An Accident", SpongeBob decided to reason against their arguments in a stubborn way.

While that might be true, he's also had those splatters of smart moments too. In "Squidtastic Voyage", he was able to think up some strange equation which isn't something that a "stupid" person can do that easily.

Yeah, that seems to be the reason why people say that she's changed so much, but in "Chimps Ahoy", we learned that Sandy had a job in Bikini Bottom working for them, so maybe she's just stepping up since she's lacked behind in those past years. And since she did make that rocket in "Sandy's Rocket", it justifies the fact that she's doing more scientific things now.

I think that Talon is right about the movie taking place after the seasons finish their run.
No offense Meatboys, but some of your reasons are nonsense. I agree that the characters changed after the movie, but the reasons are different from the ones you put.

How does he not? If anything, he loves her ten times more now, seriously. In the old episodes, his presents to her included cups of water, big boots, and used batteries. Now, he freely gives SpongeBob his credit card to get Pearl whatever she wants.

Okay, what? SpongeBob is completely different now, but what is up with your reason? SpongeBob is different now because he seems like he is ten years old. He has a high voice as if he is on hellium, he is really small, and he acts like a child. Also, he is as hyper as a kid on Christmas Eve night.

True, but the fact that he is sometimes smarter than ever evens that out. Like in Patrick SmartPants, he was a genious. Also, his voice is now more up tight.

Not really, he almost killed a guy in SquidBob TentaclePants with his clarinet (he blew off their skin). Squidward is different because his voice is less naisaly. Also, while he used to always be miserable, he is now always ready to scream. I can not blame him though, living with SpongeBob and Patrick, he must have lost it.

Mrs. Puff was never in the lead cast. Maybe she would be a supporting character, because she has always had rare appearances.
