We basically haven't heard from him since the SpongeBob Movie. There were some rumors back then that he quit the show, even some that he was fired. But I'm sure the show wouldn't just continue without its commander-in-cheif.

I cheked it, too. But there's not a possibility that STEVE wrote at least season 4 (the worst one)!!!
