When SpongeBob was doing a mayor speech, and Patrick came and showed him the tatoo. He had no idea how it got there.

I love that part! Especially since their arms were muscular. Hilarious!

For me,the funniest adult humour jokes were

In 'Your Shoes Untied' when SpongeBob was watchin possibly either p**n or female sponges and quickly switched over wen Gary came in.

In 'Rock-a-bye-bivalve'...well alot of the jokes in there like wen SB an Pat looked like they were gettin in bed with each other an wen Pat sed 'Lets have another!'

an I thought the swearin in 'Sailor Mouth' was funny and my sister didnt get y I was laughin so much

The other day I saw something nasty. For one thing, I think in "Mid-Life Crustacean", in the Wash, Mr. Krabs (i think) said,
    "Any p**n in the store?!"
and in "your shoes untied", spongebob said,
"theyve been tied for as long as i can remember..." and they show him as an...errhm...uhhhh......an "egg". Catch my meaning? And if I didnt realize it until now, little kids would never get it!

We'll.. I'm pretty sure he says "Any port in this storm" its hard to hear the T, but it does kinda sound like "Any p**n in this store", but im not 100% sure.

The adult humor in Spongebob is part of the reason that I think that it is so good!
As I was reading some of the examples that you guys wrote, I could remember them. (especially the getting drunk with the ice cream from the movie)

I recall both of those and little kids would not understand either of those.

I was just watching To Save A Squirrel, and there's this one part when Squidward was stabbing a Spongebob and Patrick vodoo doll with pins and Squidward said "why isn't this working?" Do you think little kids would get that?

No, but that's a good point. I saw it yesterday, and didn't think about that.

LOL, I do. It's one of the main reasons why the show is so awesome.
Don't bump old threads. if you want to talk about this subject more, just make another topic about it. Anyway, Spongebob does need more adult jokes. This whole "Te Show has To be kid friendly" thing is a farce, every cartoon needs innuendo for example, The Flintstones. And this show without innuendo makes garbage like Flapjack, Avartar, and The Fairly Odd Parents look more adulty.
