Although these aren't "groups", you missed writers Paul Tibitt (writes a lot of season four episodes), Dani Michaeli (recently started writing for the show, starting with Squidtastic Voyage), Vincent Waller (wrote some season four episodes, worked on SpongeBob in season 1), and C.H. Greenblatt (only one episode, Fear of a Krabby Patty, worked on other seasons).

I understand. From what I've been told, what basically happens is that the writing crew is split up into groups of two people. They work toghether on the basic outline of a story, then the Script. Next, they are assisted by various writers (that you have mentioned above) and storyboard artists to develop the episode further. When the story is ready, they pitch the idea to the producers. If the producers aprove it, they'll take it, add some tweaks and fixes to the script and storyboard, and send it to the animation crew.

I learned that when I listened to some of the commentaries from the Season 2 DVDs and when I met Erik Wiese's ex-fiance in an airplane.

I'd say #3 (get rid of Whale of a Birthday and you've got some of the best season 4 episodes).

I 'll have to agree with gogetenkusu, those guys deserve a raise. Imagine how even better it would be if the episodes were supervised by Hillenburg again.

Also, I'll have to ediit to correct some errors, and add another episode.

I'll soon ask the question about who you think is the best in general. I just do not know when really
