    The better show to me has always been Spongebob Squarepants. It was funny, and not as bad as Fairly Oddparents.

    This topic is for you to tell what show do you like better. And why.

    Well, to be honest, Both shows are jusr OKAY. Do I need to repeat myself? And why? Well, Spongebob has that cheerful, optimistic way of life while Fairly OddParents has some adult ways into it.

    SpongeBob because I just been watching it more. And I love the characters's personalities. Patrick is like Cosmo because they're both idiots!

    Since this is a SpongeBob SquarePants board, I'd be really ashamed if anyone voted for Fairly OddParents- I mean, it's a good show but you expect bias, really.

    I've been watching The Fairly OddParents longer, and I'm sorry if this insults any of you hardheart SpongeBob fans but that show is better.

    IMO, SB isn't gettin stupider. A couple newer episodes i've seen (Not Normal, The Thing) were arguably 2 of my favorite episodes.

    FOP, I couldn't say because I haven't seen the newer episodes. Is it really getting more "intelligent"? Might be worth checking out.

    Erm.... what forum is this again? Oh yeah! SPONGEBOB's! *slaps head* Obviously I like Spongebob better, it's more original and funnier. FOP is one of my faves shows, don't take me wrong, but never as good as Spongebob.

    Well, I thought I stated this, but I knew I may receive flak for saying that.

    Not Normal is funny because Spongebob just goes through a dramatic change, and they make it seem that all normal people are the same. I just found it hilarious.

    The thing was a great episode. I found it funny (even tho I like Squid) because Squid got screwed over in every possible way; when he tried running, SB thought he was excited to get to Pat's house, when it was the opposite. It was also funny how Squid was put in a Zoo and that one mother Fish said "That creature is hideous!" I also liked how at the end, they found his species and SB and Pat released him to them. Also, Squid finally got to see his concert, but then his shell came off and the things were like "What the heck?!?"

    How could someone not like those episodes? FOP has a couple funny things, but much of it is "retarded". Like, Cosmo just acts retarded sometimes. Like, he'll simply keep hurting himself or something to that extent, and I don't find that kind of humor funny.

    FOP can be funny at times, but as a show its terrible to watch. Spongebob beats it in that department, plus its humor is better.

    I agree with you. Too bad that Fairly Oddparents had a higher score than Spongebob. But good thing that I am a FOP hater, and that Spongebob had more votes than Fairly Oddparents on this thread.

    SpongeBob's plots always remain simple while FOP has to have simple plots AND pure climax-y plots. I hate it when they add villains to the show and I hate it even more when they make sequel for those villains. Can't they just keep it simple?
