You've really crossed the line , UnfortuanteDog. No one in their right mind would want any character of Spongebob to die. Yes , there was a near-death experience in the Movie , but Spongebob & Patrick survived. Also , why the hell would Charlie The Chicken Leg would be killed on Spongebob when he's on Foster's for goodness sakes!

And, to SpongeSebastian's constant hatred of the Flying Dutchman: Yes, the show could do without him, but he's an okay character I guess. But... how exactly does a ghost die, anyway?
Well, I guess he could be put to rest, like they were talking about on "Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost", in the comic book about the Flying Dutchman.
Well, anyway... Is it possible for any of the characters to die at all? Many of them have things happen to them that, in real life, would be painful and probably fatal. (Being mutilated by jumpropes, getting ripped in half by a gorrilla, getting reduced to cubes by passing through a fence, having a clarinet lodged into your brain...) So, I don't think any of them CAN die at all.

Now that I think about it, they probably can't die. Because then they will come back to life (Scooter: Bubble Buddy), they will be given a second chance (Mr. Krabs: Born Again Krabs) or they will be revived by a tear shutting off a lamp, causing the steam to cause a leak through the roofs (SpongeBob and Patrick: The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie).
