Whatever happened to that lawsuit against Spongebob for being gay?

    I don't know, but I imagine it was dismissed. Because suing someone or something for being gay is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

    Your review said the show has gotten gay, but those are all old episodes. They're just for humor! Spongebob's not gay. I thought all this gay thing was cleared up already.

    I'll let you know about 85% of americans, including me, are christian, and just because a handful of christians say he's gay doesn't mean all of them are. If you're catholic, anglocan, or protestant, that also means you're christian, which many of you are

    I agree it doesn't really matter what religion you are, cause not all people who are christians think spongebob is gay. But they probably just say he is because they hate the show for being so popular. If you saw that one "we are family" video, Spongebob was in it but not a whole lot.

    Any way on another note I'm not saying he's intentionally gay. I think the only problem is what happens if kids imitate they stuff I mentioned. That's the purpose of these lawsuits, and wether you're christian or not(which i am) being gay still isn't right. The only reason christians got involved was because he appeared in that video that they said promotes homosexuality.

    I've seen all the episodes and none of them seem gay to me. Also, the people that allowed Spongebob on that show were Nickelodeon, not United Plankton Pictures inc.

    Its all nuts if you ask me!
    a.) I've never seen Spongebob hold hands with Patrick in a lot of episodes
    b.) He has a thing for Sandy
    c.) Most of the episodes have nothing to do with homosexuality! its true kids shouldn't imitate the things that they see, but Spongebob hasn't been showing a lot of that pro-gay stuff.

    Are they actually thinking about filing a lawsuit against spongebob? thats just a ridiculous cause its just a cartoon.

    You said it. If they actually did it, they're making a lot of fans (including me) mad! just goes to show you how much people really hate Spongebob now (not everyone). But if they actually won the case, then I'd be so hella angry if i was Stephen Hillenburg.

    The only way they'll prove Spongebob isn't gay is if even just for one episode they made him date Sandy again or show some interest. Patrick fell inlove with Mindy in the movie, so why cant Spongebob get a girlfriend? everyone (except spongebob, sandy, and squidward) they made fall inlove in the show at least once.
