    I feel like its getting closer to endingI mean season 7 looks like it will be its last season.

    I don't know, but I'm guessing 3 to 5 more years, probably even more since Nick worships SpongeBob so they'll never want to end it, as long as they keep "absorbing" the money from SpongeBob.

    I think it will end in year 2014. That's just an estimate. Nickelodeon says that they want to continue the series for a long time, and it's popularity is still through the roof. I think we can expect ten seasons, at least.

    Sorry, but the chances of it ending with season seven are close to 0%, for reasons I stated above.

    By the looks of how high the ratings are still going and the way Nick is celebrating SpongeBob's 10th anniversary, I don't think they're planning to end it anytime soon. I would say around 3 more years. I fear that the show will end because of poor plotlines.

    Talonmalon is correct. Its Nickelodeon's most popular program, so I see them making more and more episodes for quite a while, but I'll guess about 5 more years

    i agree. as long as people still love Spongebob, Nick will continue to make new eps

    I voted never. Even when it ends which to me is probably around 2012-2016, it will still live on in our hearts and memories! And we will still watch all its past and future episodes on all of our vast amounts of DVD's 'till our heart's content! Who's with me?!

    Well my estimate is that show deserves to be running until at least 2012, maybe 2014. 3-5 more years of more awesome episodes and hopefully specials too from the awesome Sponginess! SpongeBob and the gang must live on with super cool endless new episodes! Sadly it can't be unlimited though. I wonder if there can ever be second movie for this... even though the first one was supposed to be the finale?

    Well anyway, that is when I think this show will end, it still ahs a lot of fans! The show must go on for at last 5-10 more years! Besides this show is starting to get better again! The writers I can tell are trying to make better episodes like most of the ones in the Thanksgiving Marathon!
