Inspired by SpongeBob's score going back to 8.7, I have question for you...

What do you think the TV.com (not your own) score for SpongeBob would be if the series ended at Season 3?

    I say I'd be a 9.0.

If this show ended after season 3 and after the movie i would definitely think this show would be a 9.0, so I agree with you.

Either that or the score would be about the same score that Avatar has right now. And I believe it's a 9.2?

I know it'd be about 9. Oh, how the Gold Years of SpongeBob shined...

I know, I miss those good old days. It was a time when Nick, DC, and CN were doing much better too, it's a shame how much they have fallen.

Yeah... I wish that all the good shows in historu hasn't fallen downhill. Cause Home Improvement fell downhill, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody fell downhill, I could continue this list for eternity.

What's up with TV shows these days? Just about all of them in this decade have startd off great in the first few seasons but then their qualtiy decreased later on, what's up with that? Seems to be quite common-maybe the writers are having a hard time thinking up a lot of great ideas to run throught the whole show and all of its seasons because there's so many other show/episode ideas out there in the TV world. Either that or its something else, who knows what else it may be?

    I smell another conspiracy...

i don't think zack and cody have fallen downhill. to be honest the first season was the worst in my opinion. i am excited for the suite life on deck.

as for spongebob's score it would have been like a 9.2 or something along the lines

Well the writers' strike earlier this year would have tripped things up as well even though that's over now.

Oh, I misread it. I thought it said what would you rate it if it stopped at Season 3. Ignore that post.

But back in seasons 1-3, there were people who hated the show. So it'd be around 9.

Basically SpongeBob was much better in its early years, there was even some haters then but I'd say a lot less around the 1999-2004 era. Well, seeing the episodes in those later seasons now I can see why the haters/slamming of the show increased.

I would have to say an 8.4!

I've gotta say, I've only started to really enjoy SpongeBob when the movie came out! Then, I started watching the series.

I started watching when Season 3 was airing in the UK, and remember seeing Selling Out/Funny Pants when I was on holiday in a place called Luton. They were the first Season 4 episodes I saw, and I loved them.

I'd say a 9. I like the few earlier ones I've seen than the newer ones.
