There's a DVD interview with Bill F a gerbakke (voice of Patrick) who says, "All I know is that there's a lot of seahorses disapearing a lot lately and that's all I know," which is possible that the Krabby Patty recipe is seahorse radish.

That was an early episode. The creators didn't come up with a secret formula yet.

The formula was first mentioned in Plankton! Besides, if that was the formula it'd be too obvious... it's what the patty's made of.

In "Plankton!", there was a secret recipe. But they never thought of making a secret sauce, which is the true secret of the Krabby Patty.

That's not the secret formula, that's how you put it together. The secret formula is in the meat.

No I'm pretty sure that the secret of the Krabby Patty is the sauce. It has been said plenty of times.

It has to be in the sauce, because when Sandy and Spongebob had a picnic in Karate Choppers they made their own Krabby Patty's with Sandy's regular meat.
