What do you think should be done for the future of this series?

    Let me refresh your minds. Rugrats is Nickelodeon's longest lasting show. That doesn't mean that it's the most popular, popularity means that it's well known and loved by many people, and SpongeBob definitely takes that tittle.

    As for the female sponge, I think it would be a good idea for one episode. Maybe later she could return, like Squilliam, but not more than 2 episodes. If they made a SpongebobXsandy episode that would go against Steve's idea for the show, he once said on an interview "I wanted a strong female character to be friends with spongebob but not a love interest" Although I am a bit of a spongebobXsandy fan, I don't see it happening in an actual episode.

    A new character will make this show go so downhill, that it can't go down anymore.

    Steven Hillenburg isn't in charge anymore, and the people in charge now already made SpongeBob be in love with a female Krabby Patty.

What they need to do is do things that mega fans ( and even regular fans like me) have been waiting for. HAVE SPONGEBOB AND SANDY KISS ALREADY!!! Here are more ideas: Movie Sequel, Mindy on the show permently, Plankton winning just one (every dog has his day), Krabs getting less cheap, Spongebob FINNALLY getting his licence, and top it all off with explosions!

    The one that pokesponge hasn't seen yet is Atlantis Squarepantis

    Here's a good idea. How about not overhyping specials/tv movies. while i did like whobob whatpants, i know plenty of people did not. Maybe if Nick decided to not show as many commercials as possible for a special, people won't get their hopes as high.

    Also for future episodes, make some more holiday specials like maybe a new year special or a thanksgiving one.

    Thanksgiving is one of my fave holidays. Maybe they could have Sandy go to Texas for the holidays and she decides to take Spongebob and Pat w/ her to meet her mom, dad, and 5 brothers (that's why she's a tomboy)

    Lol reminds me of a deleted scene from the Sb Movie where Sb and Pat are in a City and Sandy is being chashed by G-Men and she firesat them with a acorn meacine gun.

    Hehe, that was a funny scene! I would have love to see it fully animated

    I was thinking of something similar to mitsukigirl13's idea, of SpongeBob and others going with Sandy to texas, they could wear water helmets or Sandy could invent like a chewing gum or something that makes them breathe air (Nicktoons Unite Video Game, anyone?) The special could be called "Road To Texas" and they could face some difficulties on their journey, then in Texas they would meet with Sandy's family, and maybe she could feel nostalgic and wants to stay so it's SpongeBob's job to convince Sandy to go back to Bikini Bottom with them, what you think?
