I like the lovable and hilarious characters, the storylines, and Bikini Bottom! Sandy's a good idea(though somehow, she's different from the rest of the nutty crew) I wonder why she went to Bikini Bottom, or was it an accident? And how did she do it?

The characters are wacky and original and the show has humor for everyone. The theme is pretty cool too, a talking sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea? it even sounds funny!

I also like the minor characters like Larry the Lobster, The Flying Dutchman, and more. It's not very usual for there to be lovable/wacky minor characters in a TV show! This is also my top favorite show!

I love its originality! I also like the fact that it can appeal to most any age group like that I can watch it with my younger cousins and laugh yet still watch it by myself and still enjoy every second of it!
And even though much of the show isn't true to marine biology, I love the subtle scientific references like when Spongebob mentions that he can reproduce by budding or when Mr. Krabs refers to Squidward as a cephalopod.

Overall, the show stands above the rest for its quirky humor and different storyline that isn't present in any other cartoon!

The humor. The increasing homosexual actions/thoughts that Spongebob has such in 20,000 Patties Under the Sea where he says this:

SPONGEBOB: "Good bye Squidward! Good bye Mr.Krabs! Good bye Squidward."
PATRICK: "Spongebob?"
SPONGEBOB: "Yeah Patrick?"
PATRICK: "You said goodbye to Squidward twice."
SPONGEBOB: "I know, I like Squidward."

To the straight out suggestive matterial when the camera zooms on the hotdogs those nerds/geeks/spazes are having at Super Weenie Hut Juniors from the episode No Weenies Allowed.

And then there is a plain humor that children get like Patrick being stupid such in I Had An Accident.
