Spongebob can act mature or kidish. I assume Patrick is the same age as spongebob.

In the episode "Sleepy Time", (On the drivers license in his dream in the beginning) it is revealed that Spongebob was born on July 14th, 1986...so that means he's about 21.

Does SpongeBob's age really matter? I don't really care since he's a loveable character no matter how old he is.

This has to do with someone elses age,but Patrick might be older than Spongebob.Because in 'New Student Starfish he said his name is 24 which could mean he said his age instead of name.So there is a possibility Patrick is 3 years older than Spongebob.

Maybe, thats a good chance that Patrick's 24. You agree Sandy's an adult right? Or just some like spongebobs age.

But because he's a character, his age could change at whatever pace it wants.

No matter what, I think SpongeBob and Patrick are the same age. Infact, I'm willing to bet that they were born at the exact same second.

I'm sure they were babies together, and that they went to school together in the same grade (SpongeBob Quote: No, that was Patrick who brought his mom to junior prom.).

He didn't say "to junior prom".

    Good catch, SpongeSebastian .

I mostly added "to junior prom" so that everyone would know what he was talking about.  The point of that was to tell that they were in the same grade, making them atleast around the same age.
