    I agree. But whoever he married probably got fed up with how greedy he was and divorced him right after the marriage.

    Maybe he adopted Pearl. I mean, that is possible. Because he never mentions a wife. Also, he has a crush on Mrs. Puff, and he says "Oh, how I wish a lass like that on me claw." Meaning that he wishes to have a girl, and not that he already had one.

    Maybe it's the same way that a lion can mate with a tiger. After all it is a TV Show...

    Ad Mr. Krabs has said before that he knew Pearl ever since she was a baby or something like that, so if he did adopt her, then she must have been sent to the orphanage when she was first born, or they really did have a baby.
