Here we can all say what we think of 9 different episodes in total, but you describe 3 in 3 sets of different categories. I will explain that:
In section one, you tell and then describe what your 3 most favorite episodes are and why they are your most favorite ones of all time.
In section two, you can say and talk about what you think are the 3 most underrated episodes out of the whole series.
In section three, you can say and talk about what you think are the 3 most overrated episodes out of the whole series.
I will start now!
1. Valentine's Day: This episode is awesome! Its my most favorite because Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday next to Christmas! I love the hearts/flowers/candy theme of the holiday, so I'm glad SpongeBob was able to have a holiday special based on that. The episode itself was amazing! I loved the music SpongeBob was singing at the beginning!
My favorite part that excites me is when patrick turns into a maniac and terrorizes the fair! But I am glad that at the very end, Patrick got delicious chocolate! But isn't that weird when he said that SpongeBob didn't have to bring him anything? Last thing is I'm also just one of those people who loves carnivals and episodes of TV shows that show fairs like that.
2. Christmas Who? First of all is of course I love Christmas! And this episode is perfect for celebrating it as an awesome form of TV entertainment! I like the songs they sing, and it also shows caring, kindness, and holiday spirits! Squidward learns to get into it and he tries to be a good Santa Clause! Then at the end he sees the real Santa Clause! I think everything in this episode is flawless, and each character did very good in it too! Everyone in Bikini Bottom gets apresent and Squidward gets a present himself which is a wooden clarinet! Everybody wins!
3. My Pretty Seahorse: I like the premise of the episode, and I thought SpongeBob having a seahorse for a pet was cool! This was also the only episode that showed Mystery, so that makes it different from all other episodes, and is solo out of all the other episodes for being the only one with Mystery in it. I also thought the scenes with Patrick were hilarous!
Especially the one where he stands there while SpongeBob doesn't know he is calling him a stupid dumb animal!
Underrated episodes: #1. That's No Lady. I don't understand why some people think it had a stupid plot, and is just a poorly written episode. I think the plot is great! Its the only episode where we see Patrick in a disguise and tries to show his feminine side! I also think Mr. Krabs and Squidward played there parts quite well. I also thought their expressions were funny when they found out Patricia was Patrick!
#2. Dunces an Dragons. Okay, the score is pretty good (8.2) but I feel that it should be a little higher than that at least. I'm also seeing some people on this site criticizing it and/or saying they aren't big fans of it. I thought the plot was great for this episode! Special characters in mideival form like Planktonimor, and that cool dragon jellyfish! I also liked Squidly! Mr. Krabs got to be a king and Pearl was a princess! Its nice to see the dark ages of SpongeBob in a special! Time was good with the discovery with krabby patties too, and the ending!
#3. SpongeBob VS. The Patty Gadget. It sounds like this episode isn't that popular at all, but I actually liked it! I liked the rhymes and Patchy did a good job in it too!
I also thought it was cool how it was a spoof of a famous story of an african-american who proved he could work faster than a machine by nailing down pieces to railroad tracks, too bad I forget what the name of that was.
Overrated episodes: #1. Missing Identity. What the heck?! I don't find the episode that good, there was a few gross scenes (like when they were in the dumpster, that smelly boot, and SpongeBob tasting that snail food.) I also thought the plot and main theme of the story about the episode was a little weird and mediocre. SpongeBob losing his name tag? Finding out that his shirt was on backwards? It just didn't seem well written to me, there was a lot of strange attempts at finding it like all those repeats SpongeBob did in his house of what he did earlier in the morning. I'm probably the only one here who didn't like this episode very much.
#2. Hall Monitor. This is one of the most BORING season one episodes EVER!!! It just shows SpongeBob patrolling the city and doing things wrong which causes mayhem! BORING! It is just an episode where it lacks a lot of good things and luster. Then Mrs. Puff goes to jail just because it was her responsiblity? And she didn't even know for sure if SpongeBob was going to cause that much destruction! So the ending I think also had some injustice.
#3. Pranks a Lot. I'm really sorry to say this, but there was some parts to this episode I didn't like that much, which causes me to think that its overrated. First of all is that the fake vomit and especially the real vomit was disgusting! And I also thought the ending was bad and harsh for poor SpongeBob and Patrick, Mr. Krabs wasn't that nice and they were humiliated and laughed at in the end. That was terrible and I felt real bad for them. And the rest of the episode was alright, but something about it just felt lacking with something super interesting.
And the three episodes I think are overrated, I'm probably the only one who think they are, which means I'm the only one around here on this site who thinks that. Talk about terrible.
