With all of SpongeBob's new family members being introduced, I'm starting to think not. They introduced Blackjack and Stanley for the first time and they were never mentioned, but Uncle Sherm has been mentioned numerous times but never seen. I guess that Uncle Sherm might be like Uncle Earl from Hannah Montana because he's mentioned many times, but has never appeared on the show.

You do have a point. Uncle Sherm might not be introduced becuase so many characters have been introduced.
