Nickelodeon has announced two games featuring our favorite yellow sponge! One of which being the next installment of the nicktoons unite franchise!
SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis -- The game will follow SpongeBob and the rest of the Bikini Gang as they leave Bikini Bottom and journey to the legendary city of Atlantis. Players will discover the treasures of Atlantis, while experiencing new game mechanics and multiplayer features. SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis is scheduled to release for the Wii, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance this fall.
Nicktoons 2007 (Working Title) -- Players must defeat Professor Calamitous' vast army of evil toys based on the Nicktoons Heroes in this fast-paced action platform game. Featuring the largest selection of playable Nickelodeon characters from the most popular TV shows including SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius, Nicktoons 2007 (working title) is scheduled to release for the Wii, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance this fall.

Jimmy neutron in Nicktoons 2007 sounds dumb! Put el tigre in their and cosmo and wanda as playable characters. I think it would be cool to turn sheen into fairy boy like in jimmy timmy power hour 2!

Possibly it might release for PS2 and possible PS3 or Xbox 360 in a future.

I feel happy and sad about this. Happy because we get to see our favorite sponge for a sixth game and third Nicktoons game but sad because it's probly going to be all next gen.
