Fixed. Really, that kind of bashing towards Avatar is uncalled for, why someone would think that that's what the characters are in Avatar is beyond me, were you abused as a child?

SpongeBob and Avatar are both great shows and always will be infinity and beyond. (Though with SpongeBob I only meant the first three seasons and the movie.)

Now the subject of this thread is if this show teaches kids to be selfish, I don't think so, besides their parents can teach them not to behave like some characters in this show (like Mr. Krabs.) Mr. Krabs attitude and greediness has gotten worse over the past few years in my opinion. Well still, this is a good show and kids are able to know better and not imitate certain things shown on this tv show. It does not teach kids to be selfish under the right circumstances of course.

I think we all know that some episodes for this show is bad but a lot of episodes for this show are still enjoyable, so this topic should be left in the dust soon.

Mr. Krabs being cheap is probably the last reason for SpongeBob going downhill. He have been cheap since day one. And on the contrary, kids learn that it's bad to be selfish because Mr. K. have gotten what he deserves in several episodes, like on The Smoking Peanut or Krabby Land.
