This scene should not have been deleted.

Do you think that scene in procrastination deserved to be deleted?

Remember that racecar scene from "procrastination"? That racecar scene got deleted because "they were afraid kids would imitate it". That is not a very good reason that it should have got deleted. It is just a cartoon, not real life. Also, how could kids imitate that stunt? They don`t carry keys. It takes keys to start a car. Also, why would parents actually let kids drive a car? It is not possible that would happen. That scene should`nt have been deleted. Whos with me? They also deleted a funny scene with a carnival for no good reason too. How is it bad to immitate going to a carnival? These scenes do not deserve to be deleted. Do you agree?

I don't remember the scene that you're talking about, but I find to holes in your statement

    1. Takes keys to start a car. Ever hear of "hot-wiring"? 2. Parents would never give keys to kids. Stealing, that's all I'll say
    3. Parents letting kids drive a car. Again, hot-wiring and stealing, they don't need to know about it

The only scene they shouldn't have deleted was that scene in "First Bite" where Squidward was set on fire. They had no reason to delete that.

That's just a ridiculous reason why they deleted that scene. I wanted that scene to stay there and it got deleted because of a very bad reason.

I don't remember the racecar scene, but I do remember the scene in Procrastination where SpongeBob sees Patrick and Sandy at the Carnival across from his house. I find nothing wrong with that scene either, they shouldn't have deleted it. Same goes for the scene where Squidward sneaks into the Krusty Krab and gets covered in gasoline, and a match lights up causing Squidward to catch on fire. Those two scenes being deleted where some scenes in my opinion are far worse in seasons 4-7 not being deleted doesn't make any sense to me.

    You mean "Just One Bite"

I agree, that scene was pretty funny and shouldn't have been removed, but the reason why they removed it was because it was a little violent, and that I agree with, but not too bad to delete a big chunk off the episode

They deleted the Just One Bite scene because it was right after the 9/11 attacks, and soon Nickelodeon deleted it because it would encourage kids to play with fire.

Too me it makes absoulutely NO sense what so ever to delete those two scenes from "Procrastination" Even though I didn't see/ don't remember them. And alex, that seems like a pretty good reason to me about the "Just one bite" scene though.

It seems like tv is always so afraid about 9/11. I know it was a tragety, but come on, one little squid-set-on-fire scene isn't gonna make someone burst into tears because it reminds them of 9/11. And Nick isn't the only one. On Disney, when they air "An Extremely Goofy Movie", they take out the scene where Max, Goofy, and Tank are in that giant X.

I guess they removed that scene in "Procrastination" because it could have depicted a live injury, even though the crash didn't look that bad. It also doesn't make sense why they would remove the scene where SpongeBob sees everyone having fun outside his window and doing calisthetics. I guess they did it so that the cut would make sense.

The scene in "Just One Bite" was somewhat understandable as 9/11 did cause a lot of devastation in the television industry, plus kids could dangerously imitate that.

I heard about that scene, but I didn't see Procrastination never until after it was already deleted so I haven't seen it. But from what I understand, it didn't have a very good reason to be deleted.

That's a stupid reason, kids can't drive to begin with! And even if it was an older audience, well, we're all old enough to know not to imitate that stuff!

Well... It's not like when you turn 16 you're magically able to reach the gas pedal and are able to turn the ignition to work a car, so saying kids can't drive to begin with isn't a great reason...

The following reasons show why it is a stupid reason they deleted that scene:

    1. Where are kids going to get a race car?

    2. Little kids are kids who barely started school. They dont know much about cars. So, how are they possibly going to start a car?

    3. They don`t know how to drive! They cant reach the gas pedal!

    4. Parents are always watching for their kids. They would not let their kids go anywhere without them going with them.

Those are reasons why that is a dumb reason.
