A member named MomOfAllMoms on an old thread said that Bummer Vacation is similar to Big Pink Loser, Once Bitten is extremely comparable I Was A Teenage Gary and that SpongeHenge is equivalent to Jellyfish Jam WTF? Ok, first of all, BV has nothing to do with BPL. One is about Spongebob having a hard time staying away from the Krusty Krab during his off period while the other focuses on Patrick trying to win an award. OB is about Gary's changed behavior making the Bikini Bottomites think he has a disease whereas IWATG discusses as Chewster said it, why neglecting animals is a poor choice. Ok, perhaps SpongeHenge is a little like Jellyfish Jam, but I wish I could have told that user off, though I would recieve another TOS for disruptive posting, which is why I decided not to.

BV: Spongebob goes on vacation, Patrick takes over his job
BPL: Patrick tries to win an award, attempts to live SB's life, including doing the exact same job

OB: Gary being "sick" (Mad Snail Disease), his bites turn people into zombies (fake)
IWATG: Gary being sick (at first), the medicine turns SB and Squidward into snails (real)

    SH: Jellyfish follow Spongebob
    JJ: Jellyfish follow Spongebob

Same ideas (or similar), different plot.

Off-Topic: When you said "Jellyfish Jam" I thought you said "Jellyfish Jammer"

Jellyfish Jam: SpongeBob brings home a wild jellyfish, they have a wild party, and SpongeBob brings them back to Jellyfish Fields through the power of music.

SpongeHenge: Wind blowing through SpongeBob's pores attracts jellyfish and obstructs his normal activities. So he creates statues of himself that make music so that the jellyfish will bother them instead.

    They're both very different.

I'm negotiating with Nick to get the episode's name changed lol

um, these do have some similar aspects, like:

BV and BPL: Patrick works at the Krusty Krab.

OB and IWATG: Gary has some sort of illness.

JJ and SH: Jellyfish are attracted by music.

So I guess this is what that user meant

I see no similarities at all in Bummer Vacation and Big Pink Loser, those episodes are completely different. The only similarities I see between the other four are that both of them are focused on Gary and Jellyfish. Now if you really want to see two episodes that are similar to each other, watch The Graveyard Shift and Fear of a Krabby Patty.

Why should we worry about it? It's just opinions. Besides, MomOfAllMoms hasn't been active here since December 2007.

Meh, the ONLY thing they have in common is that The krusty Krab is open 24 hours, other than that, they are completely different episodes. Now, Slimy Dancing and I Heart Dancing, those are overly similar, with different turn-outs of course but with very similar plots and scenes.
