    There are episodes in spongebob squarepants where we see spongebob going to the *beach* but how cant there be waves inside a beach? And how is there a lifegaurd? its no like you can reallly drown!!!!! SOMEONE HELP!!!

    The '*beach*' is Goo Lagoon. I suppose rather than drowning you could get stuck in the mud...

    A bigger question would be why don't the boats float to the top?

    Or how do they snart fires and stuff? See, it's all part of the plot. Never question it. Just accept it.
