Sandy, but I hate her, in the cartoons the smarter is the boriest and SpongeBob SquarePants isn't a exception

I would say the older seasons of Sandy was the smarter because in the new ones, she is(in a way) constantly bragging about her intellect. She's always inventing stuff and putting it out in the open for a lot of Bikini Bottom to see. In the older episodes, the only time she did something scientific was with her rocket to go to the moon, and she didn't draw attention to it much at all. Also,(in another way) she uses big scientifical words a lot in the new ones to make it seem that she's a genius,even if those words wouldn't even make sense where she said it! Did you ever hear her say anything so scientifical in the older ones? No sirry! She didn't even tell us what the mission was to make it easier for the little ones to understand. Now they're TRYING to make it so they don't understand for some reason. This is just my opinion.

I must say, it's a tie between Sandy and Plankton. they are both inventors, and both have great knowledge in science. if I had to pick, it would be Plankton, because he is a fun, smart character, and his inventions are funny and entertaining. Remember when he invented that mind control contraption to control Spongebob, so that he could steal a krabby patty? It was hilarious how he was making Spongebob walk through walls and say intelligent things, insulting Squidward in the middle of the night. Genius! Yes they are both equally intelligent, but Plankton is the fun one.
