    Well I'd say a good day to have these nominations for the SpongeBob Hall of Fame is on December 31st, right before the start of a new year. That way we could celebrate for the new year and have the whole year to figure out what the best nominees are to have placed on the glorious Hall of Fame.

    About what you're confused about, let's say you get assigned BEST SPECIAL. That means you have to come up with 2-5 specials for nominees, and PM/post your decisoins for us so we can agree/disagree and all of that stuff.

    I kinda disagree with the whole New Year's Eve thing, because I think people should have a week to decide, and plus, not a lot of people will be spending time on their computer on December 31st.

    Perhaps it could be December 21-29, and then the winners announced on January 1st?

    The problem with December is that that is when the Member Awards are held. (Best New Member, Best Returning Member, Funniest Member, etc.)

    ^Hmmm, true, then how about in 2010? It can be like the Oscars, taking place in 2010 but awarding the movies of 2009!

    Maybe the SB forum awards can be a semi-annual ceremony: one in June and the other in December.

    Nah I think we should just keep it at once a year. That's the way we've done it in the past and I think it should stay that way. But then again, that's just my opinion.

    It's hard to say. A lot of things happen over the course of a year. DC_Dude didn't get a chance at Best New Member because everyone forgot that he joined in January. On the other hand, Best Returning Member would likely be won by the same person twice. If we do 2 a year, now is a good time because it's half way through the year. Other thoughts?

    That's true, considering that lots of new users join each day, and a lot of the active users leave the site as well. The same active gang we've have now at the SB forums will be different by the end of this year, so we should have two award ceremonies each year to keep up with the progression.

    I didn't forget that I joined in January 2008. I wanted to join in 2007, when I started reading these forums and nonesense episodes that people were making up like "DJ Patrick."

    In my opinnion, having the forums awards twice a year sounds more fair. This way, we can narrow the different thigns that happen here easily, and the newest members can have participation as well.

    Well I'm currently out of new suggestions at the moment, for new ideas of entertainment brought to the SpongeBob boards.

    For now let's just post around here and have fun with all sorts of things talking about SpongeBob like we always do. I think SpongeBob Awards of 2009 was a success!

    My only plans now that I'm sure all of us know by now is to party around here and have fun making new posts and threads all in July for the big SpongeBob celebration. (Partying in the blogs of course.) I guess we all should just be creative with our ideas now of making new SpongeBob threads like SpongeBob's bubble-blowing technique, episode discussions, character discussions, etc. and you get the idea.

    And of course any new ideas for SpongeBob games should go in the TV Show Fun and Games forum just in case.
