im sure alot of people have said this but spongebob could last forever (but unlikley) i know the 4th season is a bad one but think of the past 1-3 seasons they where way better there going to get the almost the same writers in the 5th season as in 1-3 so boo the 4th season but if we keep watching the show then it may get better dont loose hope im going to watch spongebob no matter how bad the episodes are even if its the 4th season and if it gets cancled then we wont get to see the other 1-3 seasons just like catdog chalkzone invader zim dont even get me started but watch this show

P.S http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvshows/343-spongebob-squarepants according to that link spongebob will get called in 2010 unless we watch more and nick renews it

So hopefully now, people will start to watch SpongeBob. If it gets cancelled, Nick will be in deep trouble looking for a 'better' cartoon.

Retrojunk has some innaccurate info, by the way.

I don't mind of Nick cancels it in 2010, as long as they keep showing reruns for many generations to come.

SpongeBob should get cancelled in 2010, or possibly earlier. Look, I know it's a great show (best Nick ever did), but it won't last forever (unless the creators are immortal). If new episodes get worse, then the show itself will go down. SpongeBob won't be popular forever, let alone be the most popular on Nick.

probably when SpongeBob and all those great Nicktoons like Avatar, Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron, and Danny Phantom end. Nickelodeon could go downhill very fast.

I believe Season 6 is supposed to be the last, I can't believe that its finally ending. Really seemed like this show could go on forever. Nick is gonna be murdered if they don't find another good cartoon show, seeing how all of the great ones of the past years are ending/have ended.

Naw, I thought there was gonna be at least a couple more seasons added to the long-running story, plus I'm pretty sure I heard from a reliable source that the year it looks like it'll end is 2010!

The Simpsons won't go on forever, not with the same craters at least!

Spongebob was renewed for a seventh season. I don't remember where I read it, but I know it was from a reliable source.

I don't know what is happening to the Simpsons, but I highly doubt that it would be cancelled. If Spongebob gets cancelled, what show do you think should be a good replacement of Spongebob?

Well if they're gonna continue SpongeBob with new Seasons they better be better than Season Six! That I think has been the WORST Season yet! I thought the last half of Season Five was aslo pretty bad too, but only some of them. Good Old Days of SpongeBob I'd say ended after the not so good Specials of The Best Day Ever and Atlantis Squarepantis...the writers are running out of steam and good ideas, I can tell.
