Since we think the formula is going to be revealed in TOS lets all make a guess on what the formula is

I have a pretty good hunch as to what the formula is. Of course, we know all but one of the ingredients from "Pickles." Well, I've got a couple reasons for what is making me say what I think is the full secret formula.

    The Krabby Patty Formula:

    In order:

    Bun

    Petty

    Ketchup

    Mustard

    Lettuce

    Onions

    Cheese

    Tomato

    Pickles

    Love

    Bun

    Why I say this:

Why do I think love is the secret ingredient? Here are my reasons:

    1. SpongeBob has been seen drawing ketchup hearts on the patties before
    2. In "Growth Spout," SpongeBob solves Pearl's problem by feeding her a Krabby Patty. When Mr. Krabs asked SB how he did it, SpongeBob said that it was "love."
    3. SpongeBob mentions adding the love numerous times.

So, the Secret Formula is the formula to the ENITRE sandwich? Weird, I always thought it was the formula for the patty, because in the episode where we learn of Mr. Krabs' and Plankton's past (Best Frenemies, I think?) Mr. Krabs says, "I've finally found the perfect patty batter!" Goes to show what I know about this show >.>

But, to keep this post on topic if it isn't already: It's most likely just the regular stuff (ie, ground meat mixed with salt, pepper, a pinch of chum, other various spices, possibly some onions and whatnot) people are just too lazy to realize it and make it themselves.

    What's TOS?

    Truth or Square.

I doubt they're going to reveal it in the movie, anyway. Even Stephen Hillenburg admitted that he doesn't know the Krabby Patty formula. Knowing how good comedy shows are at keeping recurring secrets from their audience (i.e. what state The Simpsons takes place), there's bound to be some catch.

On the Pop-Up Trivia for the KK Training Video, the crew said they never reveal it because even they're not sure what it is.

In reality, I think a Krabby Patty is just a normal burger, but since it's the only fast food burger around everyone loves it.

I noticed something: in the promo, Mr. Krabs appears to be getting ready to tell SpongeBob the formula. Why would he be telling SpongeBob the formula if he already knows what it is? *thinks*

Continuity has never been Spongebob's strong suit

Well, we've already discussed the idea that it could be a flashback.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Well, I still think there's going to be a catch.

The formula is possibly the fake formula, but without Plankton and some other ingredient.

Well, let's put the dots together, shall we? Like 70'sguy said, this was probably a flashback, and you may think "oh, but SpongeBob made Krabby Patties on Help Wanted" yeah, but he only prepared them, he didn't actually know what was in them, so my theory is that after a time working at the KK, Mr. Krabs felt confident enough about SpongeBob to tell him the formula and that's the flashback. Now, see on the ToS commercial we see Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob going on some sort of journey together, my prediction is that he'll take SB very far away to tell him the formula, but we, of course, won't hear it, because let's face it, it would ruin a big chunk of the show.
