NOTE: jww047, I took your answer b "yes/no" as wrong, because wasn't clear. Despite this, I agree that there's no clear answer to that but I gave a clue why I think so. Do you have a clue for the opposite?

UMMMMM Did you count #1 right or wrong because Squidward is a squid look at how many legs he has 4 legs 2 arms which equal 6 octopus has 8 legs. If you did count #1 wrong you should give them the point because i asked everybody at my school what is Squidward and they all said a squid don't mad i just wanted to make things fair.

Well, I always agreed that Squidward is a SQUID, but got disappointed when I found out what Stephen Hillenburg said that he is an octopus, but name is changed due to its better hearing... You are right there's six tentacles..but the matter is more typical....sorry....can't change it. Anyway, neither you nor I are in a position to choose whether he's a squid or octopus, since the CREATOR said the second....
