    I am a devouted SpongeBob fan, so I never miss a single episode when it premieres. However, Nickelodeon recently has been started to air new episodes early Saturday mornings. I mean, seriously, I like to sleep in during Saturday mornings, but I had to wake up at 7:30 this morning, just to watch the new episodes that were airing. I don't think Nick has done this since the show started in 1999, but I guess they decided to go back to it. I mean, how do they expect the show to keep getting good ratings if they're airing it at a time that even little kids don't get up on. It does not match SpongeBob's demographic at all. I'm okay with them airing a new episode every week, but why can't it be Friday nights again?

    Also, why didn't they air any promos for the new episodes that just premiered? Usually, they go all-out with advertising when it comes to SpongeBob.

    Actually, they did give a promo for the new eps that premiered today, but they didn't show it that much.

    Yeah, it is annoying that they air them that early ( But it's not as bad as pokemon's new time) and i also hope they go back to Nick Friday Nights.

    idk, I think it's because nothing beats a Saturday morning cartoon.

    I guess that kinda make sense, considering that there's really no competition on any of the major networks anymore (just Qubo, Kewlopolis, and all that crap).

    I know what you mean. I woke up @ 9:13 to watch the new eppies, which weren't all that amazing to begin with.

    I watch them later in the day, if they air at 9-9:30, whenever, I watch them at either noon or 5. I'm still a fan, but I just don't HAVE to watch when the episode airs

    where I lived, the eppys showed at 8:30

    I ended up missing them becuz it was so early

    the only show I am dedicated to too watch episodes when they air, is the Simpsons. not to say i am not a fan of other shows of course, I just don't need to watch them when they first air like i do with Simps

    The best thing to do if you don't want to get up so early then watch them on Youtube they usually upload them quickly

    Nick does this with every TV show. Back at the Barnyard, Penguins, Mighty B, Fanboy, all on Saturday mornings- probably to avoid competition with Disney. Yet, Disney has started to take over Sundays, so perhaps Nick can once again take the primetime Friday slot ratings and get SpongeBob its' rightfully deserved attention.

    Hmm, good analysis. I guess they can't air them at Saturday nights because that's when their Teenick (or what it used to be called) block is.

    but a lot of people, such as SpongeSeb, have mentioned they WANT to see the episodes when they first air. If they Tivo it, technically they aren't seeing it when it first aired
