Lets just talk about anything to do with squidward.

Ive got one, I was reading the character profiles on nick.co.uk and it says that squidward is an octopus not a squid but squid only has 4 legs not 8!

What do you think about this?

I remember hearing that also on Wikipedia!

I got a box of Spongebob candy canes for Christmas. On the back of the box, it says that Squidward is actually an octopus with only six legs, and that's why he's so cranky all the time.

Don't know if it's true, but I would hope that a product endorsed by Nickelodeon doesn't lie. hehe

He's on octopus. Stephen Hillenburg said so in the interview in the special features of the Spongebob movie DVD.

Yeah he's an octopus. Even Rodger Bumpass (his voice actor) says so in many interviews.
